Supermarket Sweep (S1, Ep 53 - Nov 17th 1993)

Today's contestants are Jo & Tony from the West Midlands, Caroline & Carol from London, and Andrew & Kim from Manchester. It gets off to a bad start when one contestant cannot see what's in front of her on the Mini Sweep, but Dale soon settles in questioning the teams. One was roped in by her boss to appear on the show, another team have "unusual" inspirations as role models, while the third were work mates who got married. All post good scores in the quiz rounds, but one team has a decent lead going into the Super Sweep that could be crucial. But it is anything but predictable in this episode, as all post big cash totals in the summing up to make it a nail biting climax to decide who will earn the right to go for the £2,000 cash prize.
