Supermarket Sweep (S1, Ep 59 - Nov 25th 1993)

Today's trolley dashers are Linda & Shirley from Rotherham, Terry & Christina from Warrington, and Mazza & Lalley from High Wycombe. One contestant goes frantic looking for Ginger Nuts (behave!) in a very close Mini Sweep, but Dale states he's feeling ruthless today. I guess he really wanted those Ginger Nuts! And he's cheeky with one team of sisters, asking if they work in a firework factory (you'll know what he means when you see them), another are good at winning quizzes but nearly didn't come back from one holiday they won, while the third are notorious for their driving, leading to a very funny quip from the woman's husband. The quiz rounds sees one team take a good lead, but with the other two closely pitted together in points it could yet be crucial going into the Super Sweep. And the teams really do go bananas in the aisles as they try to add up crucial cash points, but who will be going into the final to play for the star prize of £2,000 - and will they be winners on the day?
