Supermarket Sweep UK (S1, Ep 30 - Oct 15th 1993)

Today's trolley dashers are Clive & Lily from Huddersfield, Paul & Julie from the West Midlands, and Ralph & Mandy from Middlesex. Dale Winton hosts and is modestly dressed compared to one team member. He also learns that one member prefers to drive with no one else on the road, another who feels as if they've been married for a lot longer than they have, and another wants to be Elaine Page. Again, two teams pull out in front, but when it comes to the Super Sweep it proves VERY close indeed - so much so that come the cash totals there is only £1 in it! But who will triumph to go on to the final to play for the £2,000 prize?
