Supermarket Sweep (S1, Ep 46 - Nov 8th 1993)

Today's trolley dashers are Irene & Yvonne from Stockport, Janet & Alan from Worcestershire, and Christine & Carol from Essex. One contestant is almost leisurely in their "run" in the Mini Sweep, while Dale Winton hears that one team are pals that met looking for a mother and baby group, another are a married couple who are charmed by his singing, while the third are a pair of Essex sisters who (thankfully) Dale has learnt not to ask who is older. All post decent scores in the quiz rounds, but one team has a crucial lead over the others. But will they make it count in the Super Sweep, or will one of the other teams take advantage to earn the right to play for the £2,000 cash prize? It certainly proves a chaotic Sweep with one team overloaded with shopping, while another so frenetic that they risk hitting everything! But who will come out on top?
