00:00Pakatan Harapan has won the by-election for the Kuala Kubu Baharu state seat in Selangor,

00:07claims UMNO Secretary-General Ashraf Wajdidusuki.

00:11In a Facebook post, Ashraf said PH's Pang Soptao had won the seat by more than 3,000

00:18votes.

00:19According to unofficial results, at 8pm, Pang garnered 11,818 votes while her Perikatan

00:26National rival, Khairul Azhari Saud, won 8,303 votes, with Parti Rakyat Malaysia's Hafizah

00:33Zainuddin and independent candidate Niaw Keh Sin trailing far behind with 128 and 159 votes

00:41respectively.

00:42Pang's victory keeps the Selangor State Assembly seat in DAP hands for a fourth term.
