There are many favoured spots along Trinidad's North Coast, which is home to one of the most photographed spots on the island. The Maracas look out gives an enviable view of the gorgeous Caribbean sea and Team Six visited the area earlier this week.

00:00 Whether you're heading to the pristine waters of Las Cuevas or soaking up the sun at Maracas
00:07 Bay, stopping by the Maracas Lookout should be a top priority.
00:13 Besides taking in the picturesque landscape, you can also check out the commercial boots.
00:18 Cruise ship season is one of the busiest times for the entrepreneurs, who agree that the
00:23 location is the perfect invitation for customers.
00:27 One of the entrepreneurs, Andy of Andy's Handcrafts, said he has been selling for the past 26 years.
00:34 His love for the craft is what sparked the business idea.
00:38 He added that both local and international visitors frequent his booth throughout the
00:43 year.
00:44 It's not about everyday, it's about selling or making money.
00:49 Sometimes it's just showcasing your stuff, seeing people amazed at the things that you
00:54 can actually do.
00:55 For instance, this is made from a coconut, a whole actual coconut.
01:01 Try to get a little bit of everything, especially when it comes to representing a country where
01:08 white and black.
01:09 The lookout is also the ideal location for taking a photo.
01:13 Entrepreneur Devon Lewis has been operating an instant photo service at the lookout since
01:18 2017.
01:20 He said it's a joy to help visitors create precious memories.
01:25 Currently, I operate a photo booth service, whereby first I meet, greet any visitors that
01:31 come visit.
01:32 I introduce my product, or my service I should say.
01:36 I invite you guys to have a photo done on the wonderful view that overlooks the Maracas
01:41 Bay, the Caribbean Sea.
01:44 Display the flora and fauna, I guess, on the island.
01:47 I've met customers that say, "Boy, I have a whole photo wall, all yours.
01:52 I did my first print with my newborn."
01:55 Fun memories right there at the lookout.
01:57 One returning national told us that the Borode event in Point 14 this weekend is what prompted
02:03 her visit.
02:04 What prompted me to come back?
02:06 Borode.
02:07 Just to stay with some family and find friends and just enjoy home.
02:13 And then wondering why did my mother take me.
02:17 Sitting down with my children and telling them about Lajables and Sukunya and the whole
02:22 nine yards and show them what we just do.
02:24 Today I decided, I woke up, I was like, "We're going."
02:28 So I jump in the car and here I am.
02:31 I was scared to come out when I see, you know, and I was like, "Come on, let me go."
02:40 If you're heading out to the North Coast this weekend, be sure to take a moment and enjoy
02:44 the breathtaking views the Maracas Lookout offers.
