00:00Stop boycotting KK Mart.
00:07Perak Mufti Wan Zahidi Wanteh has urged Muslims to halt their boycott of the convenience store chain.
00:13He said the public's response to the all-lawsocks issue has gone beyond the boundaries of Islamic justice.
00:20As intent is an important element of criminal behavior in Islamic jurisprudence,
00:24Wan Zahid said intent to insult Islam cannot be proven in this case.
00:29He said KK Mart's open apology for the incident as well as its statement given to the Islamic Development Department
00:36clearly show that there was no intention to insult Islam.
00:40Citing the formation of the Medina Charter,
00:43he also said boycotting a race was not in line with the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad.
00:48The KK Mart controversy began on March 13th when photographs of socks with the word Allah
00:54at an outlet in Bandar Sunway were circulated on social media.
00:58The company issued an immediate apology while its founder and director have been charged over the matter.
