00:57 Hey, Fight Fans, happy Cinco de Mayo weekend, and happy Fight Week.
01:01 Canelo Alvarez versus Jaime Munguia fighting for
01:04 all the straps at Super Middleweight.
01:06 There's more belts on the line than in a Gucci store.
01:10 Make sure you either show up at Las Vegas and drink and watch with me, or
01:14 go to DAZN.com right now and get the pay-per-view, because this one is going to
01:19 be wild.
01:21 Hey, Fight Fans, the Barstool Boxing Show is back, and
01:24 I have a brand new desk, courtesy of all the pay-per-views that you guys had bought
01:29 for the Ryan Garcia versus Devin Haney fight.
01:31 My thank you to you.
01:32 We got another banger coming up this weekend.
01:34 We got Super Middleweight Undisputed Champion of the World and
01:38 Mexican superhero Canelo Alvarez taking on Jaime Munguia.
01:43 Jaime Munguia in the T-Mobile Center in Vegas.
01:48 They're fighting for all the straps at Super Middleweight.
01:50 It's the first time two Mexican fighters will be competing for
01:53 an Undisputed belt at 160 or above.
01:57 So it's kind of historic.
01:59 It's on Cinco de Mayo.
02:01 It's two Mexican fighters.
02:03 It's being fought in Vegas, and it's gonna get violent.
02:08 And listen, you might be familiar with my relationship with Canelo Alvarez.
02:11 I'm not shy about how close of friends we are.
02:14 But in case you don't know, let's take a look.
02:16 [MUSIC]
02:26 >> What's up, brother?
02:38 How are you? Good to see you.
02:39 How's things?
02:39 Doing well?
02:40 Good, good.
02:41 We're talking a little bit, right?
02:42 We'll catch up.
02:44 >> Greatest fighter in the world.
02:45 Unified, Undisputed Super Middleweight Champion Canelo Alvarez and my good friend.
02:49 [MUSIC]
02:53 >> Congratulations.
02:54 >> Canelo, say hi.
02:55 >> Units, respect, units.
02:56 [MUSIC]
03:03 >> I'm still in pain, by the way.
03:04 >> Yeah? >> Yeah, you messed me up.
03:05 >> How do you wanna do this?
03:06 You wanna move, or?
03:07 >> No.
03:08 >> You gonna do that a bunch?
03:10 [SOUND]
03:12 >> I don't know about this shit.
03:13 I'm gonna be pissing blood.
03:14 [SOUND]
03:17 >> Yeah, yeah, yeah, right.
03:18 Next time we go a little bit lower, if that's okay?
03:20 >> You want a little massage?
03:21 >> Yes, a little bit.
03:22 Is that okay?
03:23 [MUSIC]
03:29 >> All right, let's start with Canelo first.
03:31 You know he's my favorite fighter, as I said before.
03:33 So I just flew out to Lake Tahoe, his training camp for the last two fights.
03:38 And I gave him a little surprise gift for our fifth anniversary.
03:41 [MUSIC]
03:49 Hey everybody, it's Large.
03:51 I'm in beautiful, scenic downtown Truckee, California at Truth Tattoo,
03:54 where one of the best tattoo artists in the world, Juan Carlos,
03:57 is about to mark my body for the rest of my life.
04:00 [MUSIC]
04:05 >> Carlos, my man.
04:06 >> How are you, brother?
04:07 >> What's going on?
04:08 >> What do you got for me?
04:09 So I gotta get this done today.
04:10 [MUSIC]
04:11 >> Holy, are you out of your [BLEEP] mind?
04:15 This is a back piece, man.
04:16 I love the moxie, I like the motivation.
04:19 We gotta bring that down a little bit, man.
04:20 I need a little bit of real estate.
04:22 See what you can do.
04:22 I'll be inside.
04:23 [MUSIC]
04:33 Ow!
04:43 Be gentle, don't pound it in.
04:51 What the [BLEEP] am I doing?
04:55 What the [BLEEP]?
04:58 I'm a 53-year-old father of three.
05:00 What the [BLEEP] am I doing?
05:01 [MUSIC]
05:04 So for people who are at home wondering why I'm doing this,
05:08 when my parents came here by boat from Ireland and
05:12 landed in New York, they didn't follow any American sports.
05:16 So when I was a kid, the only thing I watched my dad ever was boxing.
05:23 We used to go to a place in Brooklyn and do closed circuit, five bucks,
05:28 four kings, Hagler, Leonard, Duran, and Hearns.
05:34 It was the greatest thing in the world.
05:35 So that's why boxing has always been my first love.
05:38 And then when I came to Barstool a little over five years ago,
05:43 they were given access to fighters.
05:45 One of the first fighters they were given access to was Canelo Alvarez,
05:50 who I've been watching fight since he's 15 years old.
05:54 I love the kid.
05:58 And we hit it off.
05:59 And ever since then, he's consistently gone out of his way to hurt me in the ring.
06:05 >> [LAUGH] >> And just be gracious as far as giving
06:09 us access.
06:10 >> Hello, my friend.
06:11 >> Hola, mi amigo, how are you?
06:13 Canelo, if you don't feel the same way about me as I feel about you,
06:16 I think that you're a friend of mine.
06:18 He's the best pound for pound fighter in the world.
06:21 >> I feel the same to you, my friend.
06:23 I say to them, hey, he's a good guy.
06:26 I say, I feel the same.
06:28 >> So that's why I'm getting this.
06:31 I really, I mean, I cover NASCAR and I enjoy it, but my first love is 100% boxing.
06:37 And my favorite boxer in the world is 100% Canelo Alvarez.
06:40 That being said, it's still a [BLEEP] terrible idea.
06:45 Terrible [BLEEP] idea.
06:48 >> How's it feeling so far?
06:50 >> It's good.
06:51 It feels, if I had to describe it,
06:53 it feels like someone's dragging a vibrating needle across my back.
06:59 >> No way.
07:00 >> Yeah.
07:01 Let's talk about the professionalism from Juan Carlos here.
07:03 I had said, can I get a couple of bucks off and use an old needle?
07:06 And he refused, refused.
07:09 All right, guys, Juan Carlos, Truth Tattoos, trucking California.
07:11 >> Come on by.
07:12 >> Inking up your boy before he goes sees Canelo Alvarez a little later on.
07:15 I still don't know why you asked me to shave my balls for this.
07:20 [MUSIC]
07:30 Canelo Alvarez tattoo has been acquired.
07:37 I'm in a tremendous amount of pain, but that doesn't matter.
07:40 I just showed up at the secret location of his training camp in Lake Tahoe,
07:43 California.
07:44 Going to get an update on how he's working out for this Jaime Munguia fight.
07:48 Before I go in, pan down, get a look at these things.
07:50 [MUSIC]
07:57 Hey, everybody, welcome on back.
07:58 It's me with Canelo Alvarez, my favorite fighter of all time.
08:02 I'm no longer saying favorite fighter of all time because Canelo is officially my
08:05 favorite athlete of all time.
08:07 Canelo's my favorite celebrity of all,
08:09 you have a lot of hats to wear when it comes to me.
08:12 Who's your biggest fan?
08:14 >> I think you.
08:15 >> Why do you like me so much?
08:16 I will tell you that.
08:17 >> I feel your vibes, your vibes are good.
08:20 >> The vibes are good, right?
08:21 >> And I feel good vibes and that's why, I don't know,
08:26 I just connect with you, I think so.
08:29 >> Right, on the first time that we interviewed,
08:31 you started in Spanish with the translator.
08:34 >> Yeah. >> And we got about four minutes into
08:35 it, and this was his move.
08:36 It's a little bit of a sneaky move.
08:38 Sent the translator, you can get the fuck out of here, I feel comfortable now.
08:40 And then we did the rest of it in English.
08:41 >> It's because sometimes for
08:45 me it was harder to speak and that's why I have the translator.
08:50 But now I feel comfortable to get an interview and I think I'm good.
08:56 >> Today is the five year anniversary of the first time I ever interviewed you.
09:00 But what do you get a guy that has everything?
09:04 You have a lot of money, you have a lot of horses.
09:06 You kinda like when I'm in a little bit of pain.
09:09 Remember when you fucking kidding?
09:10 >> [LAUGH] >> Remember when you even told me my
09:13 arm the whole deal, so look what I did today.
09:15 This is what I did for you today, about a half hour ago.
09:17 So I'm here in Lake Tahoe, I went to Truckee, California.
09:21 Truckee, California, which isn't too far away.
09:23 Check that out.
09:25 >> My God.
09:26 >> Is that something else?
09:27 [BLEEP]
09:28 >> Yeah, so-
09:29 >> Is it the first time?
09:31 >> Yep.
09:32 So it's one of those things where I'm a 53 year old father of three.
09:37 I've been married for 25 years.
09:39 I have two tattoos.
09:41 One of them is of my wife.
09:42 I keep her right here because I keep her close to my heart and
09:45 I'd like to rip her [BLEEP] head off sometimes.
09:47 >> [LAUGH] >> 25 years, had three kids with her.
09:50 She deserves all the respect in the world.
09:51 So she got on my skin.
09:53 And the other one is of [BLEEP] you.
09:55 So there you go, happy anniversary.
09:56 Yeah, absolutely.
09:57 No, I appreciate this stuff.
09:58 You just recently got a new tattoo.
10:00 What did you just get?
10:01 >> A bear.
10:02 >> A big bear, right on the back.
10:03 What's that symbolize?
10:05 >> I like bears.
10:06 I just feel like I connect with them.
10:08 >> Is that one of the reasons we get along?
10:10 >> My [BLEEP] for life.
10:11 >> Is it? Your spirit animal is a bear.
10:13 >> Yeah. >> I don't mind that at all.
10:14 I looked at Jaime Munguia's body, not personally cuz restraining order type
10:19 stuff, doesn't have a lot of tattoos.
10:21 Does that say that this guy's afraid of pain?
10:23 >> No.
10:24 >> Not at all?
10:25 >> No.
10:26 >> Okay, one of the problems that I have with this is that you're fighting a nice
10:31 guy, you're fighting a guy that's universally considered just a good dude.
10:36 So we're not gonna get anything wild at the weigh in,
10:39 where maybe somebody says something inappropriate, you take a stab at him or
10:42 anything like that.
10:43 I don't think there's gonna be a lot of jawing back and forth.
10:46 What's your relationship with Jaime before this whole thing started?
10:49 Have you met before?
10:50 Do you know him?
10:51 >> I don't like that kind of stuff when you talk a lot of [BLEEP] and
10:54 try to fight before the fight.
10:57 Because some fighters talk too much and in the fight they do nothing.
11:04 >> But those type of fighters, those type of [BLEEP] talkers,
11:09 those type of guys that make you say get the [BLEEP] out of here,
11:12 like that type of stuff, that creates mad Canelo.
11:15 And when you get an angry Canelo, it's a different type of fight.
11:18 It's the type of fight where you go in there and
11:20 you break somebody's orbital bone, right?
11:22 In front of a packed crowd in Dallas Stadium.
11:25 You get those type of fights.
11:27 Where are you gonna dig down and let us see that angry Canelo?
11:32 >> I will do it.
11:32 I will do it.
11:33 >> He's a fucking asshole.
11:34 He steals his fighters.
11:36 That's what he do.
11:37 >> Focus on your body.
11:39 >> Okay, and yeah, so that's pretty much it.
11:42 Go ahead, Miguel.
11:43 >> Fucking pussy.
11:44 >> [LAUGH] >> Motherfucker.
11:48 >> All right. >> Everyone, I'm asking for you too,
11:50 motherfucker.
11:51 >> He's knocking guys out at about 80%, 80% knockout rate, right?
11:59 >> Yeah, but I'm not that guy's.
12:00 >> No, no, you beat me too, you son of a [BLEEP]
12:03 >> [LAUGH]
12:04 >> But yes, he's knocking guys out that
12:05 aren't Canelo Alvarez at about an 80% rate.
12:09 You haven't knocked somebody out in about three years.
12:11 And I know you've had opportunities where you've mentioned,
12:14 there are guys who step into the ring and they just wanna survive.
12:16 And it makes them nearly impossible to knock out when they don't square off
12:19 against you.
12:20 How important do you feel it is maybe getting the knockout here,
12:23 just to get off the three year snide?
12:25 >> The knockout is always important because it's the most spectacular win
12:30 with a knockout.
12:32 And I prepare myself for that.
12:34 I prepare myself for that.
12:36 And it happens, happens.
12:39 I will try all night.
12:41 It happens, happens.
12:42 If not, I have 12 rounds to prove I'm the best.
12:46 But Las Vegas, Cinco de Mayo weekend, I think it's no matter what, it's Mexico.
12:53 >> No, no, and it will, it will be packed with Mexicans.
12:55 I tell people that I never feel more Mexican than when I'm in a Canelo camp.
13:00 That's why I'm dressed like this.
13:01 So I'm gonna ask you right now, does this bother you?
13:03 You know that I'm doing this as a sign of respect.
13:05 I'm doing it almost as a sign of jealousy, right?
13:08 >> I feel proud.
13:09 >> You do, right?
13:09 >> I feel proud about you like to wear my Mexican colors.
13:14 >> Right, and your guy Javier, he got me the lengua tacos.
13:18 You know what I mean?
13:18 Like, so I'm really trying to get in this thing, jump in both feet.
13:21 Speaking of feet, how about these things?
13:23 >> Beautiful. >> And I just realized-
13:25 >> Just the color, beautiful.
13:26 >> Yeah, and it says Mexico on the side.
13:28 It's got some sort of- >> You need to wear Canelo, Canelo,
13:30 Mexican Canelo.
13:32 >> Do they do them in size 15s?
13:33 >> Stuff.
13:34 >> Yeah, but look what I got underneath here.
13:37 >> [FOREIGN]
13:39 >> We can do it.
13:39 Yeah, we can do it.
13:40 >> No, don't say cabrones, but I say cabrones.
13:43 >> Yeah, yeah, I'm allowed to say it, right?
13:44 No, I'm not allowed to say that?
13:45 >> Viva Mexico.
13:46 >> Yeah, why not?
13:47 >> Am I allowed to say it?
13:47 >> Viva Mexico, cabrones.
13:49 >> Okay, good, then I'm gonna definitely say that.
13:51 All right, so that's it.
13:52 So I gotta have you guys make sure you tune in on May 4th,
13:56 Cinco de Mayo weekend to watch Canelo Alvarez dismantle Jaime Munguia.
14:01 You can watch it on DAZN and order it right now on DAZN.com.
14:05 I may have lied to you and said that I only had one other tattoo of my wife, but
14:09 you know when somebody's paying the bills, they're paying the bills.
14:12 >> [LAUGH]
14:14 >> All right champ, so I'm gonna see you in Vegas.
14:16 Make sure you stay safe.
14:17 Until then, I'll talk to you soon.
14:18 >> See you in Vegas.
14:19 >> Jesus.
14:20 >> [INAUDIBLE]
14:22 >> Okay, so you heard all about Canelo.
14:24 You saw Canelo.
14:25 You saw my goofy tattoo, which by the way, I never covered it after I got it,
14:31 because I had to show it to Alvarez right away.
14:34 So it's infected.
14:36 So there's a good chance before I do the Fury fight with you guys in a couple
14:39 of weeks, I'm only gonna have one arm.
14:40 I'm essentially gonna be the drummer for Def Leppard.
14:43 Let's move over to Jaime Munguia.
14:45 I wanted somebody to be a mouthpiece for Jaime going into this fight.
14:49 And I couldn't think of anybody better than one of my favorite people in boxing.
14:53 A boxing expert from the gym to the ring, and that's Claudia Trejos.
14:58 Hey, everybody, so as promised, a couple people in the boxing world I trust more
15:03 than others, right?
15:05 Don King, probably bottom of the list.
15:07 [LAUGH]
15:10 Right?
15:11 And certainly at or near the top of the list is a young lady named Claudia Trejos.
15:17 And if you don't know what Claudia does exactly,
15:20 everything that you can do in the world of boxing from ringside,
15:25 she has done, and she has done it in both English and in Spanish.
15:30 She's an inspiration to a lot of people, and she's a very close friend of mine.
15:34 I want you to give me the argument on exactly how Jaime Munguia can pull off
15:41 an upset and become the undisputed super middleweight champion in the world
15:46 after beating Canelo Alvarez this Saturday in Las Vegas.
15:50 What can this kid do to, and is it fair for me to say, shock the world?
15:55 >> Let me start from the top.
15:57 >> Please. >> Thank you for pulling me out and
15:59 bringing me in to just hang out with you, cuz God knows I miss you.
16:03 You still owe me cigars and scotch, but that's a completely different
16:06 conversation.
16:07 >> Yeah, yeah, exactly.
16:08 >> We'll touch base on that later.
16:09 >> Right.
16:09 >> So boxing is the type of sport that,
16:15 actually all sports are like that at the end of the game.
16:17 We really don't know what's gonna happen on that day.
16:20 The offense could be a messed up day for somebody, whoever loses that day.
16:26 So I'm just gonna bring one name that we both know very well, Julio Cesar Chavez.
16:33 And there was a time when he was the best pamper pound.
16:36 And here comes this young man who nobody really thought he was gonna be that good.
16:43 Comes from the Olympics, gold medalist, and beats him, not once but twice.
16:49 Let's talk about another name, Ameldrick Taylor.
16:53 Shocked the world, but it was Julio who pulled the last minute win.
16:59 So boxing is the one place where everything is possible
17:05 under the lights of hope.
17:07 In this case, I think we have a lot more than just hope for Jaime Munguia.
17:12 Let's talk about, when we talk about Canelo,
17:15 I'm just gonna rewind the tape a little bit.
17:17 >> Mm-hm.
17:18 >> When he took on Floyd Mayweather, we all thought there is no freaking way
17:22 he's gonna last two rounds against Floyd.
17:25 Are you kidding me?
17:27 What?
17:28 Was it easy for Floyd?
17:29 No.
17:30 Did he teach Canelo a whole lot?
17:32 Absolutely.
17:34 Canelo became a better fighter after that.
17:36 Let's talk about another fighter that went through that too.
17:38 I remember Victor Ortiz, who was climbing up the ladder, who took on Floyd.
17:43 And we all know what happened then.
17:45 >> Right.
17:46 >> But I'm gonna give you a name that perhaps people don't know.
17:50 Bredis Prescott, a Colombian fighter, fellow countryman.
17:55 >> Right.
17:56 >> He flies all the way to England to be a record fatter for
18:00 some very highly touted fighter, Amir Khan.
18:04 Got knocked out, lights out by Bredis Prescott.
18:10 What's my point?
18:11 My point is, again, everything is possible in boxing,
18:14 especially if you're a puncher.
18:17 And what is Jaime Munguia?
18:19 A puncher.
18:20 And not only that, he is a tall, lanky, long arms,
18:26 long legs, perhaps not as mobile as B-Bowl.
18:30 And I'm not comparing, before everybody jumps out of their seats,
18:33 I am not comparing B-Bowl to Munguia.
18:35 >> Right. >> What I'm saying is,
18:37 physically, the attributes are there.
18:40 And he's got a massive punch.
18:43 So for those people that say, well, he's just taking a low hanging fruit for
18:49 this Cinco de Mayo celebration, I got news for you.
18:52 Jaime Munguia is not a low hanging fruit.
18:55 He's a very young man.
18:56 He's Mexican.
18:58 And we all know what Mexicans bring to the table.
19:01 It's a lot of grit, a lot of will, a lot of just sheer.
19:05 And I'm gonna say this in my best French, what the chickens lay.
19:09 A lot of eggs, in Spanish, huevos.
19:12 >> [LAUGH] I like it, I like it, yeah.
19:15 [LAUGH] >> So is he the guy?
19:20 I don't know yet, we'll find out on May 4th.
19:22 But could he be the guy?
19:24 Why not?
19:25 We never thought that Dmitry B-Bowl was gonna take Canelo for a ride.
19:29 Again, this is a completely different fighter with a lot of amateur
19:34 experience that Jaime Munguia doesn't have.
19:37 But with that being said, I think Munguia's style fits perfectly for
19:43 Canelo, and Canelo's style fits perfectly for somebody like Jaime Munguia.
19:50 Canelo was once in this spot, and he fell short against Floyd.
19:55 Because again, Floyd was that much more of a safe fighter, defensive fighter.
20:00 >> Right. >> He didn't fall into Canelo's trap.
20:03 Whereas these two, knowing themselves, because let's not forget,
20:06 they know each other very well, very well.
20:10 And they know each other's style, traps, and they both love to duke it out.
20:15 I mean, you and I know that there's fighters and there's fighters.
20:19 There's fighters that just wanna get in there, do their job,
20:22 get the hell out of dodge.
20:23 >> Yes.
20:24 >> These two guys actually love getting hit and hitting people.
20:30 We've seen this before on Canelo.
20:32 He gets punched, he feels it, then he comes back with a vengeance.
20:35 That's exactly what Munguia does.
20:37 >> And again, for people who don't know, Claudia and I are good friends.
20:41 We've had many drinks.
20:43 She's scotch and a cigar, I'm a port and a cigar.
20:47 And it's some of the most enjoyable times that I have when I'm at a big fight,
20:52 is with Claudia, right?
20:53 And she's also easy on the eyes, whatever, so am I.
20:55 So listen, I'm dropping a lot of names here.
20:59 I'm saying how close I am to Canelo and how close I am to Claudia Trejos.
21:03 I will tell you, if you guys ever get the opportunity to sit down and
21:06 have a cigar and a scotch with Claudia, it's a life changing event.
21:09 I highly recommend it.
21:10 [MUSIC]
21:18 >> Just beautiful.
21:20 I know you guys can't- >> Can I smell that?
21:21 >> Please do.
21:22 >> I mean, perfect combination, thank you.
21:25 >> That smells fantastic.
21:26 >> It is, it's gorgeous.
21:28 So he's priming it right now.
21:30 >> So you're priming the cigar first, you're not putting the flame right on it.
21:34 >> Correct.
21:35 >> Okay.
21:36 >> It's what we call toasting.
21:38 >> Okay.
21:38 I do something very similar with my wife.
21:41 >> [LAUGH]
21:42 >> Before we start smoking.
21:43 >> Yes, we are nothing better than to get it all toasted.
21:46 >> I don't have to say anymore?
21:46 Okay, yeah.
21:47 >> Yes.
21:48 [MUSIC]
21:55 >> There's nothing that Claudia hasn't done in the world of boxing.
21:58 I don't know, have you ever been in a ring?
22:00 >> Yes. >> Okay, so there's nothing then,
22:02 that confirms it.
22:03 There's nothing that she hasn't done.
22:04 And on top of it, there's nothing that she hasn't done in two languages.
22:09 So if I don't see you doing stuff next to me, I see you ringside doing it for
22:14 a Spanish TV or his own Spanish feed and stuff like that.
22:17 You're truly extraordinary.
22:19 >> Thank you, coming from you, it's a beautiful compliment.
22:24 >> Thanks, Ian.
22:28 >> Respect, 100%.
22:30 [MUSIC]
22:32 >> So I love a little sweetness with my smoke, so that's gonna do well.
22:40 [MUSIC]
22:46 >> She's very photogenic too.
22:48 And then you turn the camera over and it's like a pile of laundry.
22:51 It's [BLEEP] embarrassing.
22:52 I hate doing stuff with Claudia.
22:55 >> No, you don't.
22:55 You love doing stuff with me.
22:57 >> I do.
22:57 All right, so we heard Canelo's side of the story right from the horse's mouth,
23:02 Canelo himself.
23:03 Then we heard Munguia's side of the story from my good friend Claudia.
23:06 Now let's go off the reservation a little bit.
23:08 Let's get the opinion of somebody who you probably wouldn't go to normally for
23:12 a boxing prediction.
23:14 I said, who can I get?
23:15 I asked my good friend Glennie Balls, who kind of operates on the fringe of society,
23:19 and we came up with someone.
23:21 Somebody who's taken on more guys than Jack Johnson, Julio Cesar Chavez,
23:26 Canelo Alvarez, and Jaime Munguia put together.
23:28 Let's check it out.
23:29 Rochelle Ryan has taken down more guys, when you think about it,
23:34 than Julio Cesar Chavez, Jim Johnson, Canelo Alvarez, and Jaime Munguia put together.
23:39 So that gives her a little bit of the edge.
23:41 Also being a Las Vegas native, Rochelle Ryan is a staple at big fights,
23:50 particularly Canelo Alvarez fights.
23:51 You're a big fight fan, correct?
23:53 Yes, I love Canelo.
23:54 He's my favorite boxer.
23:55 And you go to just about every fight that you can, particularly the ones that are in Vegas.
23:59 Yes, I haven't missed one yet in Vegas since I've lived there.
24:02 Okay, and how long have you been in Vegas?
24:04 12 years.
24:04 12 years.
24:05 All right, so I've probably seen you at fights, but I don't make eye contact when I see
24:09 good-looking women because I love my wife.
24:11 And I'd like to say that from the outset.
24:13 I love my wife very much.
24:14 But so being ringside at a Canelo fight, can you give people an idea,
24:19 because I try to express them as the biggest, whitest person in the world.
24:24 When I go there, I fall in love with it.
24:27 I fall in love with the musical artists.
24:30 He basically brings out Mexican Elvis every time.
24:35 Yes.
24:36 And it brings the house down.
24:37 Shit, I don't understand what they're saying, but I fucking adore it.
24:41 Can you give people an idea what a Canelo fight is like?
24:43 I mean, just the energy when there's a fight weekend in Vegas is out of this world.
24:49 I'd have to say probably my favorite Canelo fight was the Mayweather one.
24:53 Yes.
24:53 He was so young going into that, but he's just fearless, which is why he's always been
24:58 my favorite boxer.
24:59 We're trying to make this out to be almost like this is Jaime Munguia's Mayweather fight.
25:05 Can you maybe agree with that, to go in against a big veteran?
25:08 For sure, 100%.
25:10 Yeah.
25:11 By the way, I'm nervous talking to you.
25:13 Stop it.
25:14 I sat down with Tyson Fury, 6'9".
25:18 I sit down with Canelo Alvarez, guys who could wipe me out at the drop of a hat, but I think
25:22 somehow you could fucking wipe me out in less than a drop of a hat.
25:26 All right, so let's talk about the bare bones of a Canelo fight.
25:30 You get dressed to the fucking nines.
25:31 Yes.
25:32 You get absolutely dressed to the nines like you're going to a goddamn photo shoot.
25:35 Do you go for the undercard or are you one of those hotshots that just shows up for
25:39 the main event?
25:40 How deep do you go in there?
25:41 Ooh.
25:42 By the way, me asking how deep you go in there, everything I'm saying has got this-
25:47 How deep do you go?
25:48 ... in your window.
25:49 I apologize, but I'm making myself blush.
25:51 Please.
25:52 I mean, I usually like to go for the main card.
25:55 I'm not going to lie.
25:56 I'm just such a big Canelo fan.
25:58 It's just the energy.
25:59 I remember probably just all the fight weekends in Vegas, the energy in this city is just
26:04 incredible.
26:05 I remember it was one of Mayweather's fights and I was never a Mayweather fan, but I remember
26:11 I went into the gym that weekend.
26:13 There was so much hype in the city.
26:15 As I walk into my gym, Mike Tyson was sitting there.
26:20 I don't get starstruck that much, but I saw him and I just went right up to him and just
26:25 started shooting the shit with him.
26:27 Let me tell you, that man is so intimidating.
26:30 Being next to him, I was like, "This man's in his 50s.
26:33 He could hurt me."
26:34 You could just smell the savage on him.
26:37 Yeah, you could smell the savage on him.
26:39 Yeah, you get the savage, the weed.
26:40 I mean, I know he's not smoking weed right now before his Jake Paul fight, but he's just,
26:45 oh, he was awesome.
26:46 Yeah, absolutely.
26:47 So, you're going to be at the fight.
26:48 Yes.
26:49 I'm going to be at the fight.
26:50 So, we're going to spend a little time together in Vegas, which I'm excited about.
26:54 I need you to get ... So, this is what I'm going to ask of you.
26:59 Come in here and I really appreciate you taking your time coming in here.
27:02 By the way, if you think she's going to be dressed to the nines at the fight, she's dressed
27:06 to the nines to talk to me about the fight, right?
27:08 So, it's always extremely nice to see somebody like you.
27:11 Oh, well, thank you.
27:12 You're making me blush.
27:13 Oh, there it is.
27:14 So, I need a prediction.
27:16 I need a prediction from you on this fight.
27:20 You need to reword that question.
27:22 I need to reword that question because of your background in the adult film industry.
27:26 Yes.
27:27 So, we're going to get your prediction in the form of one of the most popular porn things
27:32 that they do, where I'm going to be the pizza guy, you don't have money, and then I'm going
27:35 to demand a prediction.
27:36 Are you ready?
27:37 I am ready.
27:38 Ding dong.
27:39 I'm sorry, I don't have any money for the pizza.
27:42 I love that part.
27:43 All right, so, instead of money, you're going to have to pay me with a prediction.
27:46 You see this thing on May 4th, Canelo Alvarez versus Jaime Munguia for all the belts, all
27:52 the straps.
27:53 There's more belts than a Gucci store on the line here.
27:55 Undisputed super middleweight champion of the world.
27:58 What's your prediction?
27:59 How long does it go and who's the ultimate winner?
28:01 I think it's going to go the full 12 rounds, Canelo by decision.
28:05 Why do you think it's going to go the full 12 rounds?
28:09 Canelo's last four fights have been by decision.
28:12 And I still think Jaime- By the way, I brought you in here because
28:16 you're a porn star.
28:17 So, the fact that you tell me- And that I love your son, too.
28:20 Oh my God, by the way, we could talk about that.
28:24 All my kids are gorgeous, but my son, who's 20 years old, Rochelle Ryan came after him,
28:30 he's a temptress.
28:32 But I like the fact that I come in here.
28:34 And you're right, it's been three years or so since Canelo has had a knockout.
28:38 I think it was the Caleb Plant fight was the last time that Canelo has knocked a guy out.
28:43 And since then, he's only gotten older.
28:46 Again, 33 is not old by any stretch of the imagination.
28:49 I mean a little bit in my standards.
28:52 So you say it's going to distance because he hasn't knocked anybody out in a while.
28:56 But what makes you think that Jaime can make it 12 rounds swimming in deep water with a
28:59 guy like Canelo?
29:00 Well, I love that you asked how deep.
29:04 Yeah, I keep saying deep.
29:06 And by the way, as an Irishman, I have no business asking you anything about deep.
29:11 Yeah, but go ahead.
29:13 I think it's going to go the full 12 rounds.
29:16 Canelo, I think, I mean, I'm a Canelo fan, but I do think he's slowing down a little
29:21 bit.
29:22 Yeah.
29:23 Okay.
29:24 Is it getting hot in here?
29:25 All right.
29:26 So, we've already, we try to be a little bit unbiased.
29:28 So, I'm going to have to give Jaime some shine, right?
29:31 And Claudio-
29:32 And Jaime's never fought, like he's coming into the middleweight category, right?
29:36 To fight?
29:37 Super middleweight, yes.
29:38 Yeah, super middleweight.
29:39 Like Canelo has been there.
29:40 Like, he's been at that weight and just, I don't know.
29:43 You take the weight out of it.
29:44 Okay.
29:45 Take the weight out.
29:46 I think it's fair to say that Jaime Munguia arguably doesn't present anything to Canelo
29:54 that he hasn't seen before.
29:56 Canelo has fought guys who are younger and taller than him because he's a shorter fighter
30:01 for most of his career.
30:02 Very rarely does Canelo go in the ring and look, stand eye to eye with a guy who's his
30:06 age.
30:07 Canelo's not going into this fight like he's not going to lose.
30:09 Yes.
30:10 There's no way.
30:11 Like, he's literally pulling a card out of like Mayweather's books right now.
30:14 Right.
30:15 And you know what?
30:16 So, you're a bigger Canelo fan than me.
30:17 And then Jaime Munguia on the opposite side has never seen anything like Canelo on the
30:21 opposite side of the ring.
30:22 Right.
30:23 We have to give Jaime some shine here.
30:24 We do.
30:25 We have to give Jaime Munguia Camp some shine here.
30:27 And the only way that I can think about it is by asking this question.
30:30 Knowing that you have an affinity as a young lady, as a young attractive lady, knowing
30:34 that you have an affinity for younger attractive men, my son being one of them.
30:40 And again, keep your hands off my son.
30:44 My wife would kill me if that was to ever happen.
30:47 I don't know how I could get through that, Michelle.
30:51 So, if you had to, this is going to be a little bit rude.
30:54 If you had to sleep with one of these fighters, knowing that you're a huge Canelo fan, but
31:00 he's 33 years old and weathered like an old sailor versus a smooth skinned, 27 year old,
31:07 six foot tall, ripped Jaime Munguia.
31:10 Who are you taking the chrome off?
31:12 Oh, I'm taking the chrome off of.
31:15 Right?
31:16 Oh, Jaime's coming home with mama.
31:18 Yeah, absolutely.
31:19 All right.
31:20 So, before we get out of here, let me just kind of sum up.
31:24 Canelo Alvarez is 33 years old.
31:26 I've always said an inflection point for fighters is around 37.
31:30 Everyone kind of loses their fastball in and around the age of 37.
31:35 Keep in mind though, Canelo's been fighting since he's 15.
31:38 So he's been in the ring a lot in those last 18 years.
31:42 And then you have Jaime.
31:43 You have Jaime on the other side, who's 27, and he's getting better by the fight.
31:48 And Freddie Roach is doing stuff with Jaime Munguia that I think is extremely impressive.
31:53 And the kid is at his best right now.
31:56 You put those two things together and you're going to have yourself some fireworks.
32:00 And at the end of the day, we're going to have a Mexican undisputed champion at the
32:05 super middleweight division.
32:06 And you can watch it on DAZN.
32:08 Go right now to DAZN.com and order this fight.
