00:00Social media personality Santi Raj Bar and her husband, Ryan Sanjit Bar, are turning
00:08to the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission for help.
00:13Santi claimed that a suspended police officer has been extorting and harassing them since
00:182017.
00:20She said the former officer approached her a few days after her then-husband M Maha Vignaraj
00:26passed away and informed her that he did not die a natural death.
00:56Santi said the duo threatened to tell police the truth if she did not pay the RM300,000
01:06but she did not relent, leading them to blackmail her.
01:11She also said the suspended police officer made TikTok videos claiming that she owed
01:15him money.
01:16The former officer then posted pictures of Santi's son online, prompting her to file
01:21a police report.
01:23Some pictures and videos which only the best friend has and he's been releasing it to this
01:30police officer and he's been slowly releasing it one by one.
01:33Meanwhile, Ryan claimed the police and MCMC have not done much despite the multiple reports
01:39filed.
01:40The police have opened cases against him.
01:42The first police report we filed against him was closed with no further action which we
01:50had to appeal and open back again although there was sufficient proof and the rest of
01:57the reports are all open but no action has been yet, the reports have not been, there's
02:03no closure to the reports yet.
02:05He also said he and Santi recently filed a civil suit against the suspended policeman
02:10for defamation.
02:11We managed to obtain an injunction last week, they have tried to serve him the injunction
02:19but he refuses to sign, restrain him from making any postings and also to bring down
02:27all the current postings that he has made.
02:31I really hope this guy will be taken in and questioned and the suspended police officer
02:39together with the best friend, I really want them both to be questioned and also to be
02:43investigated.
