00:00 What does it mean when it is said the wine that we drink is our own blood? What does

00:24 wine stand for? What does wine stand for? Real joy, something that makes you lose your

00:33 thinking mind, something that intoxicates you, something that takes away all your cleverness,

00:40 that is wine. Divine joy that overpowers you is referred to as wine. The wine that we drink

00:49 is our own blood. So, what does that mean? It is our nature.

00:56 Our nature. No. Yes, yes. Blood means body identification, body, the material. So, unless

01:09 you are prepared to shed the blood, unless you are prepared to be beaten, bruised, hurt,

01:19 bleeding, there is no wine for you. Your own blood, your own hurt, your own wounds come

01:27 to you as wine. So, those who love wine must not be afraid of bleeding. Those who love

01:35 to be intoxicated by divine wine must not be afraid of receiving wounds and bleeding.

01:43 If you are too afraid to bleed, then God s bar is not for you. There you first go, offer

01:54 your blood and it comes back to you as tequila shot.

02:15 So, the body has to ferment. What does that mean? That means that all our life we have

02:30 lived as the body, taking care of everything that was related to the body. What is related

02:35 to the body? Nationality, parents, family, gender, desires, everything specific to the

02:42 time and age and place of your birth, identities, all of them have to ferment. Ferment means

02:50 to be destroyed. Yes. Then? We give everything for a glass of this. The taste of wine, the

03:17 charm, the full intoxication of that wine is such that you are prepared to give everything

03:23 away just to have one sip of that wine. Pretty exotic wine. After all, it s God s bar. You

03:37 sell off everything else and all you get is one glass and you are happy with the deal.

04:01 Just for a sip. Is this wine something that is divine or something that is bodily that

04:13 we should drink? This wine is a life spent in joy, a life spent without worries, fears,

04:25 tension. This wine is that life. You get that kind of a life. Anything and everything can

04:37 be put at stake. That life is so lovely, so beautiful. You cannot compromise it. My mind

04:49 is already compromised in this Christian theology which regards this as sinful and hateful.

04:58 Enjoying. Joy and pleasure are different. When Christ was being crucified, he was in

05:07 joy. Christianity or any other mythology would always be talking of pleasure as ego, never

05:20 joy. Joy is the mind s closeness to the truth. Joy cannot be evil. Jesus is in joy even at

05:32 the time of his hanging. He is in pain. He is bleeding. Yet, because he is so near to

05:40 the truth, he is still in joy. So, joy is never a sin. Pleasure might be. No, this wine

05:53 is not at all. Is it about pleasure? You are giving everything away for a sip. Is there

05:58 pleasure in it? There is devastation, not pleasure. But some people do it. They are

06:05 the mad ones, drunkards.

06:10 It means that just as liquor is fermented in a barrel, what is being said is that here

06:28 it is not some liquid that is fermenting. It is the body itself that is fermenting to

06:33 produce the liquor. So, the barrel contains no fluid. It contains the body.

06:52 So, be with this, let it be there and keep drinking the wine. The more you drink it,

07:16 the more you don't want to leave it. Yesterday I was saying that even truth is in some way

07:22 like a habit. Drink the wine more and more. Then you will keep discovering how much you

07:30 love it. The more your love opens up, the more difficult it will be for you to then

07:37 let the truth go. Spend time with it. Time is all you have. Spend more time with it,

07:46 more time, more time. And then there comes a point when you say, oh my god, time does

07:53 not matter. Whatever be the time, I want to be here. Now that is called going beyond time.

08:03 But for timelessness to come, you have to first begin in time. Do not just take this
