Nottingham Forest have confirmed they are to appeal the four-point deduction they were given by the Premier League for breaching Profit and Sustainability Rules. Daniel Wales reports.

00:21 found that the club had breached the threshold of £61m worth of losses in the 2022/23 season

00:31 Initially, the club were set to be deducted six points but this was reduced to four because

00:38 of their early plea and cooperation.

00:41 However, in their most recent statement announcing their appeal, Forest made clear that they

00:46 were extremely disappointed with the decision to deduct them points and that the decision

00:50 raises issues of concern for all aspirant clubs.

00:55 the case should be settled before the end of the season.
