What do you think of the new urgent treatment centre opening hours?

In its weekly voxpop, the Advertiser found out people’s opinions on the newly approved opening hours at Newark Hospital’s urgent treatment centre.

00:09 But it could do with it being open all the time.

00:14 Because it's a long way to Kingsmill.

00:21 It's better than not, you know, rather than, well I prefer them open 24 hours,

00:27 but as it isn't going to be open 24 hours, a little bit longer is better.

00:31 A couple of times since it opened, but I mean a walk in centre is fine,

00:39 but we really should have an accident emergency like we used to do.

00:43 I mean Newark Hospital is fantastic if they open the facilities,

00:50 but I mean that's probably just staffing problem with the NHS.

00:54 But Newark Hospital is a good hospital. It is one to use them properly.

00:59 It's a good idea to have the extension, but I still think it needs to be open at night

01:05 for people that have problems, particularly with now we've got so many people,

01:09 new people with the housing, and they've got children, and things happen in the night.

01:31 and transferring everything out to the other, Nottingham and Kingsmill and such.
