00:33 And I'm out here to review their hot dogs.

00:36 They have Italian hot dogs, they're a famous location down here.

00:39 I mean, Sunny's Grill, look at this.

00:42 That hot dog guy up there, he looks like he means business.

00:45 The only question is, will they massacre these dogs?

00:50 Or will these sunny dogs be just what the doctor ordered on this beautiful St. Patrick's Day weekend?

01:45 All right. Now, you can choose different types of hot dogs here,

01:50 but they have the Subrette All Beef, Dirty Water.

01:53 They have grilled dogs, even fried dogs.

01:56 Originally located in Neptune, New Jersey, opened in 2016.

02:01 They relocated to Belmar in 2018 and have been shiny ever since.

02:06 They once were rated as one of the top 25 hot dogs by NJ.com.

02:12 Well, now I'm going to be the judge of that.

02:17 This is what a proper dirty water dog looks like.

02:22 Bun to dog ratio, perfect.

02:26 When the dog sticks out at the end, that's what you want to see.

02:29 Now, here is the most important part.

03:04 It's even topped with ground up Doritos.

03:10 And what you notice is it's got chili, it's got cheese, it's got Doritos,

03:16 and it stays in the bun.

03:19 Bun to dog ratio still remains on point.

03:21 But here comes the most important part.

03:23 How does this taste?

03:54 Now, what their specialty is, is the Italian hot dog.

03:57 Now, I always get my Italian hot dogs without the peppers and onions,

04:02 but still an Italian hot dog, of course, no mustard or ketchup.

04:07 A little salt on these potatoes.

04:10 Of course, the Italian hot dog was invented in Newark, sometimes called a Newark dog,

04:17 and it's mainly known for Jimmy Buffs and Dicky D's.

04:21 Jimmy Buffs originally in Newark, Dicky D's still in Newark.

04:26 And they have potatoes, peppers, and onions on what they call pizza bread with two fried onions.

04:32 And this is the right bread, pizza bread.

04:36 The potatoes are very uniquely diced up.

04:39 You don't -- with French fries, you have to use these fries.

04:44 Well, let's see how this tastes.

04:45 And they fried the hot dog.

04:46 This hot dog was grilled.

04:47 This was dirty water.

04:49 Let's see how the Italian hot dog is.

05:06 This is an outstanding hot dog, an outstanding Italian hot dog.

05:20 When you add these all together, this hot dog is also a home run.

05:24 I am going to not only raise the apple, this place, with all the ambiance, down to shore, this place is a grand slam.
