First Minister Mark Drakeford has told the ongoing covid inquiry that Boris Johnson deliberately did not meet with devolved leaders early in 2020. He also said that when Cobra meetings did take place, he was only given notes minutes before they were set to begin, which put himself and Welsh gov counterparts at a disadvantage.

Two brothers have been given suspended sentences for assaulting a rival football fan.
