00:00 >> Well, last year's State of the Union may have focused on infrastructure, bipartisanship,
00:04 and included a raucous exchange when the president spoke about Social Security benefits.
00:09 >> I'm glad to see you, not. >> But this year is an election year,
00:13 and the president used his time at the podium to illustrate why he's a better choice than
00:18 the other candidate. >> My predecessor and some of you here
00:20 seek to bury the truth about January 6th. I will not do that.
00:24 >> President Biden very clearly went after Donald Trump for his disregard of the American way.
00:29 Citing his stop the steal mantra and Trump's attempt to stay in the White House after losing
00:34 the election. >> You can't love your country
00:36 only when you win. >> He then came after Republicans on
00:40 border security, telling the chambers, quote, I'm ready to fix it. Send me the border bill now.
00:45 Biden has already made moves to work with Republicans over the immigration issue at
00:49 the southern border. However, many have accused the right of not cooperating,
00:53 simply so they can continue to point fingers and use the border as a political tool.
00:58 Just like last year, Biden discussed the overturning of Roe v Wade by the Supreme Court,
01:02 blaming Trump once again, despite the former president attempting to distance himself from
01:06 the unpopular decision recently. >> Send me a congress that supports
01:10 the right to choose, I promise you, I'll restore Roe v Wade as the law of the land again.
01:15 >> The president briefly touched on Israel, assuring there would not be any American boots
01:19 on Israeli soil. And he issued a warning about the consequences for Ukraine if Trump wins in the US.
01:25 >> Now my predecessor, a former Republican president tells Putin, quote, do whatever the
01:33 hell you want. That's a quote. I think it's outrageous, it's dangerous, and it's unacceptable.
