00:03 The Teen Mom 2 alum recently filed a complaint for separation from her husband of six years

00:08 in a North Carolina court, according to legal documents obtained by The Sun.

00:13 Janelle, 32, said the pair separated on February 16 with the intent that the separation be

00:18 permanent.

00:19 She alleged that David, 35, has exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior

00:24 toward her throughout their marriage.

00:26 E! News has reached out to reps for Janelle and David for comment, but hasn't heard back.

00:31 The couple share seven-year-old daughter Ensley, while Janelle is also mom to sons Jace, 14,

00:36 and Kaiser, 9, from previous relationships.

00:39 Meanwhile, David is also dad to 16-year-old daughter Marissa.

00:43 Janelle's legal filing, which is often submitted one year before what the state considers an

00:47 absolute divorce between a married couple, comes four months after David was charged

00:51 with a child abuse misdemeanor involving Jace, who she shares with ex Andrew Lewis.

00:57 At the time, Janelle described the allegations as a smear campaign.

01:06 "He has been on and off medication that was not prescribed under my care.

01:38 The pair broke up in 2019 after David admitted to fatally shooting her dog Nugget, and the

01:46 They reconciled in 2020, with Janelle explaining that they'd decided to work through the hard
