00:03 So let's take a look here at another Eastern Conference team,

00:05 which is the New York Knicks.

00:07 107-98 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

00:09 Now you might hear that and say, yeah, it's the NBA, and

00:11 the Knicks probably got hot and Brunson played well.

00:13 Well, as we told you in the seven and seven,

00:14 Brunson didn't even play a minute in this game,

00:16 didn't even score a single point.

00:17 Now here's the tough part about this game.

00:19 We're all handicappers, we're all gamblers.

00:21 If you're sitting down watching this game, and

00:23 you see Brunson hobbled right away, aren't you running right to

00:25 the Fanbula Sportsbook and trying to get as many wagers in

00:28 on the Cleveland Cavaliers as you possibly can?

00:30 Because there's no way the New York Knicks would be able to win this game.

00:33 And they actually did, and almost by double digits, an incredible feat here,

00:37 which saw Josh Hart play 45 minutes, McBride off the bench, 47 minutes here.

00:42 A gutsy performance, John, from the New York Knicks yesterday over

00:45 the Cleveland Cavaliers.

00:46 >> Yeah, I think kind of a microcosm for both of these teams here.

00:51 We see the Knicks fighting through adversity.

00:53 Yes, it's been tough without Ojean and Obi, without Julius Randle, and

00:56 now potentially without Jalen Brunson.

00:58 But we know guys are prepared to play big minutes, or

01:01 they really have no choice under Tom Thibodeau.

01:03 Playing 40 plus minutes, you can expect that for

01:06 guys like Josh Hart on a given night, as he did last night, you said.

01:09 So I think the Knicks, they're bringing the intensity,

01:13 they're doing what they need to do to kind of stay alive in that playoff race.

01:16 Cleveland on the other hand, this is kind of a defining loss for

01:19 them too, because they struggle against teams.

01:22 They actually have won a lot against teams that are under 500.

01:25 So you'd think coming into a Knicks team, minus a bunch of stars,

01:29 you'd think that maybe Cleveland would be able to put them to bed.

01:31 But the Cavaliers against teams above 500 on the season, Donnie,

01:36 are really struggling.

01:37 I believe they're under 500, I think 13 and 18 now, I wanna say, is that number.

01:41 So the Cavaliers need to be able to win against good teams and

01:44 win against teams playing hard in a playoff-like environment.

01:47 The New York Knicks are gonna slow you down and grind it out.

01:50 That's the kind of basketball that Cleveland can expect to encounter in

01:53 the playoffs, not a good sign for the Cavaliers.

01:56 But hopefully Jalen Brunson comes away not too bad from this.

01:59 They're saying it's a knee contusion, Donnie.

02:02 I don't know, non-contact, I don't know if I really believe that, but

02:05 let's hope that is the case.

02:06 And hopefully Jalen Brunson can be back alongside Julius Randle and

02:09 Ojean Inouye for New York's playoff run.
