00:00The New York Knicks stumble last night on the road in the Motor City,

00:03despite both Carl Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson in that starting lineup.

00:08Detroit basketball grooming itself into a playoff contender, perhaps.

00:13The Pistons win by nine, 115-106.

00:17Detroit easily covers as a three-and-a-half-point home favorite,

00:2136-point performance for Cade Cunningham,

00:23the former number one overall pick in his fourth NBA campaign, DRS,

00:27starting to live up to that billing.

00:30Yeah, he is playing well.

00:31And credit the Pistons after decades of really bad basketball being in the playoffs.

00:36But it'll be a short trip to the playoffs because it is a two-team race in the Eastern Conference.

00:41Now, the one team that's always been interesting all season long has been the New York Knicks.

00:44Again, they lost last night.

00:45That's a good win by the Pistons.

00:47A little disappointing on the Knicks' end.

00:48But the Knicks, starting five when fully healthy,

00:51has the talent to do some damage in the playoffs.

00:53But we don't have any backbone to go off of because the regular season showed us,

00:58hey, look at all the talent.

00:59Yeah, we can't beat teams that are equally as talented or more talented than you are.

01:02So what's the point?

01:03I feel better about betting the Knicks in the playoffs because the high ceiling that the Knicks could have

01:07if they play well and stay healthy, I don't have that same feeling for the Pistons,

01:11who might be just feeling their way around the playoffs this time around.
