00:00DRS, of course, we start with game number four inside the world's most famous arena.
00:05The atmosphere entering game three on a Saturday afternoon in New York City, electric.
00:11The buzz, palpable, but the result for the New York Knicks, devastating.
00:16Losing by 22 to the reigning NBA champs of the Boston Celtics,
00:20who had opened up at least a 20-point lead in all three of the first games in this second-round series.
00:28It had seemed, after the Celtics won game three by 22 points,
00:33Boston had taken command back in this second-round set.
00:37The New York Knicks had other ideas in game number four.
00:41Rallying once again dramatically in the second half, down by as many as 14 early in the third quarter.
00:50The Knicks win to take a commanding 3-1 series advantage of their own, 121-113.
00:57Closing line on FanDuel, five-and-a-half in favor of the Seas.
01:01The Knicks win outright once again as a home underdog inside Madison Square Garden.
01:06A total of 208-and-a-half skies over.
01:10Four players for New York, scoring at least 20 points, including 39 out of Jalen Brunson.
01:16Again, DRS, there will be a cloud that hangs over this result in game four in the second-round series overall
01:23due to the significant leg injury that Jason Tatum suffered with about three minutes remaining in regulation.
01:30But let's call it what it was.
01:32The New York Knicks rally to take command back in this series happened well before that injury to Jason Tatum.
01:38It certainly did.
01:40And also, you had a worst-case scenario opening this game up for the New York Knicks.
01:43Like, they can't shoot that well from three-point range.
01:46Talk about the Celtics again, can they?
01:47You have about 39 points in the first quarter, and they were raining three-point shots.
01:51You heard the garden like that.
01:53That energy sort of died down like, they're going to do this to us again.
01:56Every wide-open three-point shot that Derek White was knocking down early in Jason Tatum.
02:00You saw that crowd with the moans and the groans like, they can't be doing this again.
02:04But credit to the New York Knicks, a 37-23 third quarter here.
02:07The garden was jumping again, and they seized control.
02:10And you're right about it.
02:11This wasn't one of those games where Tatum had 32 points at the break
02:13and got injured in the first minute of the second half.
02:15What do you want us to do?
02:16He played all the way through that third quarter, which the Celtics lost by 14 points,
02:20and the Knicks seized control finally in the fourth quarter.
02:23That was a great victory, and it seems like the M.O.
02:24is like the Celtics run after a lead, and then the Knicks try to chase him down.
02:28It's wild how you put, like, the plus-minus of, like, the minutes on who was leading in the series
02:31and finds your way to a Knicks 3-1 series lead.
02:34But as we talked about also opening up the telecast, you're saying, hey, look at this.
02:38You know, now we have a chance to win this without the other team's best player,
02:43as we'll probably get news back on that today.
02:45But they're up 3-1 basically with Tatum playing the entire series.
02:49What a massive boom for the Knicks who now go back to the TD Garden.
02:52In Boston, you have a game to play with here before you get back to the Garden,
02:55and you have three chances to knock out the defending champions here
02:59and move on to the Eastern Conference Finals.
