Govt fleet to begin EV transition this year

National Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister on Monday (Feb 26) said that the use of electric vehicles (EVs) for the government’s fleet will start this year  He said the government will also take into account the financial implications of the move before it is fully implemented at all agencies. 00:09 Yeah, I think last year the government made an announcement.

00:12 Any clear timeline on that?

00:14 I think it will be starting very soon with regards to the start for government fleet to be EV.

00:21 But obviously not in total because it's a huge fleet and the financial implication.

00:27 But as announced by the Prime Minister, it will start this year.

00:32 Any specific this year, first quarter?

00:35 That one, we will have to double check.
