00:00 The late Kelvin, speak to me. Kelvin was a 24 year old gentleman who was alleged that he was involved in a petrol vehicle accident.
00:10 Following the allegations, there were so many issues that led us to come here and perform the post mortem to find out what happened.
00:18 So upon doing the post mortem, the finding was as follows.
00:22 First of all, what we found was that the late Kelvin had severe head injuries.
00:27 There were severe skull fractures which were mainly at the base of the skull.
00:33 The spinal cord had intruded into the cranial cavity because of the fractures.
00:40 Further to that, there were some fractures on the ribs, both sides.
00:44 On the left side, the first, second and third ribs were fractured.
00:48 And on the right side, the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and seventh ribs were fractured.
00:53 There were also what is called contusions on the lungs, meaning that there were also injuries to the lungs.
00:59 So what actually killed the late Kelvin was severe head injuries, which when I look at them, they look more like something caused by a motor vehicle accident.

01:10 We've taken samples for further analysis because the circumstances of the death is still being investigated.
01:17 So there are some samples that will be taken which will undergo what is called a full toxicology analysis.
