Following the BAFTA film awards, Leeds locals reflect on Oppenheimer and their all-time favourite films.

00:02 My favourite film is Alien Murphy. He's a great actor. I watched his film recently in cinemas. It's a great film, great storyline.

00:09 A little bit controversial obviously because of the topic, especially with what's going on in the world at the moment as well.

00:15 But it was a great film all around. Great acting, great cast. I really, very much enjoyed it.

00:21 You asked me about an all-time favourite. I've got quite a few all-time favourites.

00:27 Probably the Mafia type of films for me. Godfather, Goodfellas, Scarface.

00:33 As you're growing up you sort of enjoy those types of films. I'd probably put them down as my all-time favourites.

00:38 First of all, I have not seen Oppenheimer. Second of all, I went to Bob Marley the other day with a friend.

00:46 Absolutely fantastic. Great, great, great. Stan O'Kirsten, you know. So that was fantastic.

00:52 Favourite film? You could be here all day with that one, couldn't you?

00:57 It's got to be, for me, Godfather.

01:02 Just, just, Mystic Rivers, Sean Penn.

01:12 Favourite film of recent times? I'd say Power Series 4.

01:16 Which obviously ain't on TV. And then I'd say our best movies.

01:22 I'd call, like, we've got Godfather, we've got the movie Blow by Johnny Depp.

01:26 I like Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile and obviously Buster.

01:33 Buster is the film we got married to. The Groovy Kind of Love and the songs.

01:39 So it means something to us. But Shawshank Redemption is probably my favourite.

01:44 I haven't yet seen the other films in the cinema, but I'll just sort of share them with you.

01:51 I like the train spotting films and Independence Day.

01:58 All the Terminators. But some of them I ain't seen yet.

02:05 Because I think they got a bit far-fetched as they got past Terminator 3.

02:10 Oppenheimer. I didn't watch it personally, but from what I heard about it, it was an amazing film.

02:15 Incredibly historically accurate on Robert Oppenheimer.

02:19 And I thought it was a good piece of information for people to know.

02:23 One I always go back to is Star Wars Revenge of the Sith.

02:26 Absolutely brilliant movie. If you like Star Wars, then people will obviously watch it.

02:30 But it's a great movie.

02:32 The Irisman. Four hours of The Irisman, you know.

02:37 I've sat through every hour of that more than once.

02:40 The cast. I go on the cast and the script.

02:44 If the script is good, you know it's going to be a good film, regardless of the cast.

02:49 But normally what you get is you get a good script, but then when it's given out, the good actors pick the script up.

02:58 So it bypasses a few there. But absolutely amazing.
