00:44 - Yeah, I think the first time I was diagnosed as a student,
00:47 I just thought if I can live one year more
00:51 and graduate with my friends, then that's okay.
00:55 Which kind of took me by surprise
00:56 that that would be how I, you know,
00:58 I hadn't anticipated getting a diagnosis
01:00 and then it took me by surprise that I just thought
01:03 I just need a year to fulfill my goal.
01:06 And then each time I get a diagnosis,
01:08 I just think, well, what's my short to medium term goal
01:12 that I'm aiming for and just go for that.
01:14 So whether that's like seeing my youngest daughter
01:19 pass the GCSEs, like thinking of when she was nine
01:23 and I got a diagnosis, I thought,
01:24 well, if I can just see her through
01:27 till she gets the GCSEs, that'll be good.
01:29 And then I got another diagnosis.
01:30 I thought, well, I'm just see her through to her A levels.
01:32 And then if I can just see her through to getting a degree,
01:35 and then if I can just see her through to getting married
01:38 and then just see her through to having a baby.
01:41 And so each time I don't look too far into the future.
01:45 I just look to what's my immediate goal
01:48 or the goal I have in my role in somebody else's life.
01:51 So don't worry too much about the long future,
01:56 just what's really important to me at the moment.
02:01 What would I really like to see through?
