London’s bus and tram Hopper fare is being extended over the summer to include unlimited journeys, Sir Sadiq Khan announced on Monday.The promotion will mean travellers can take as many trips as they want on weekends and pay for just one between July 25 and August 31.

00:10Here's everything you need to know about the newly extended bus and tram hopper fare.
00:14Currently, the hopper fare only charges you for a single ticket within one hour of touching in,
00:19regardless of how many buses you end up catching.
00:22That will be extended to an entire day on weekends this summer.
00:25That means you'll only have to pay £1.75 for unlimited bus and tram travel on a Saturday or a
00:31Sunday.
00:32Mayor Sadiq Khan told the standard it will benefit both tourists and Londoners.
00:37Well, I'm really excited to be launching the weekend hopper, or as I call it, the whopper.
00:41The idea is to support Londoners during a cost-living crisis in the summer holidays,
00:46support families to make the most of the summer holidays,
00:50but also to support our fantastic attractions and hospitality during the summer holidays.
