Transcript
00:00 (upbeat music)
00:02 - All right, it's the Rundown Live from Vegas.
00:06 We are brought to you by High Noon.
00:08 We got the El Pres pack right there.
00:09 John, you wanna do a little showcase showdown?
00:10 - Sure.
00:11 - Showcase some--
00:12 - Passion fruit, pineapple, pear, tangerine.
00:16 - Dave says that's the greatest pack of High Noon
00:19 on the planet Earth.
00:20 With Dave on the side of the cage too.
00:22 And those are his four choices.
00:24 - I like how the artist took about 20 years off Dave on it.
00:27 That was nice of him.
00:28 - Took a lot of Miami pool days off.
00:30 (laughing)
00:31 - That's definitely Milmore that did that.
00:33 - Yeah it is.
00:34 - That has to be Milmore.
00:35 (laughing)
00:36 - You know, everyone knows he's a taste maker.
00:38 So he chose the four flavors to go in that pack.
00:41 Again, passion fruit, pineapple, pear,
00:43 and the all new tangerine.
00:45 So you can get that in your stores.
00:47 You can get it delivered.
00:49 And it's got Dave's face on it.
00:51 So it's like a collector item.
00:52 Can scan the QR code on the side
00:54 and have El Pres virtually join your party.
00:58 - Hell yeah.
00:59 - That's something.
01:00 - Holy shit.
01:01 - And the 12 pack is here for a limited time.
01:03 So get it while you can.
01:05 Go to highnoonspirits.com
01:07 to find the nearest El Pres pack near you
01:09 and party with it this week for the big game.
01:12 We are in Vegas.
01:13 - Speaking of Dave,
01:14 I got a text right before this rundown started
01:17 from a,
01:18 someone Jason put us in touch with at
01:22 (beep)
01:23 Vermont, the mountain.
01:24 I guess Dave is going there this weekend.
01:26 This guy is a concierge of type there.
01:30 - Sure, sure.
01:31 - And I got a text.
01:32 What would you recommend to make Dave's day special?
01:35 So I'm wondering, what do you guys think I should say?
01:37 - That's a,
01:38 (laughing)
01:39 we'll put the topics on hold for a second.
01:40 If you had to plan a day for Dave Portnoy,
01:43 what would you do to make it enjoyable for him?
01:46 Boy, that is--
01:47 - I was thinking the other way.
01:48 I was thinking, what should we tell him that Dave loves?
01:51 - He absolutely loves.
01:51 - Hell, ruin it.
01:52 He really does not enjoy.
01:54 (laughing)
01:55 - Just a deluge of,
01:56 but honestly he doesn't mind people coming up to him.
01:58 It's not like he needs to be isolated
02:00 or anything like that.
02:01 Water pressure he's always been big on.
02:03 - Yeah, water pressure and air conditioning.
02:04 - Water pressure and air conditioning.
02:05 Water pressure, air conditioning, pizza
02:06 are the only things I know that Dave's a fan.
02:08 Gambling and those three things
02:09 are the only things I know he likes.
02:11 Everything else is a total toss up.
02:12 Does Dave ski?
02:13 No.
02:14 Does Dave like the apres ski scene?
02:17 I don't know.
02:18 - I'm also, I'm guessing Dave has said this publicly
02:20 and that's how this person knows.
02:21 If he hasn't said it publicly,
02:21 it's probably just to take us all out.
02:22 - Yeah.
02:23 (laughing)
02:25 - That's a good point.
02:26 That's a great point.
02:27 - We'll just bleep out where it is.
02:28 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:29 Yeah.
02:30 - The last thing in the world I would ever wanna do
02:32 is have to plan to be responsible for like,
02:35 plan the day to make Dave happy.
02:37 You never fucking know.
02:39 You never know what, like it could go wrong.
02:40 I'd be like, Dave, we're going to the track
02:42 to bet on horses and something would go wrong.
02:44 Whose fucking idea was this?
02:46 - Yeah.
02:46 - Dave loves it when you talk to him exclusively in pig line.
02:50 (laughing)
02:52 - Here's what you do.
02:53 Tell him how much you're a Rico Bosco fan.
02:57 Tell him how you think that Rico's content is the best.
02:59 - But weirdly, I think he likes to talk about Rico.
03:02 Like if you talked to him about Rico,
03:03 he could talk about Rico for like six hours straight.
03:06 - That is true.
03:07 - Like there's some shit and then there's some shit
03:07 he just does not wanna hear about at all.
03:09 - Never talk about it again.
03:10 - Maybe like, I bet he likes like a great dinner
03:13 and like some fancy wine.
03:15 - Picking dinner spots is always a tough one too.
03:17 That's always been, if you miss on dinner,
03:22 you're in trouble.
03:22 - Steakhouse is safe, private room.
03:24 - Yeah.
03:25 - Type of steakhouse vibes.
03:26 - Yeah.
03:27 - I have some tricks for getting restaurants
03:28 in different cities.
03:29 If it has a utensil in its name,
03:32 that's gonna be a good restaurant.
03:33 - Really?
03:34 - Something spoon, the like the rusty fork or something
03:36 like that, those are gonna be good.
03:38 - Okay.
03:38 - If it's something and something,
03:40 if it's like pig and pear or something like that,
03:42 that's gonna be a good restaurant.
03:44 - You know what I learned recently?
03:45 I was watching a documentary on pubs
03:48 and they're talking about why a lot of bars
03:52 and pubs are named like weird animals.
03:55 - Yeah.
03:56 - And it's because the drinking glass historically
03:59 is very illiterate and you can't say a word.
04:03 So it's gotta be like--
04:04 - It has to be a picture of an animal?
04:05 - It's gotta be a recognizable logo.
04:06 Like here I'm at the fucking spotted pig.
04:09 - Yeah.
04:10 - That's hilarious.
04:11 - Like where's that?
04:12 It's the one with the fucking spotted pig.
04:13 - You idiot.
04:15 - All right, let's get into some topics.
04:17 Lisa Anne arrested in New York City
04:19 at the Matt Rife concert, real or fake?
04:22 - Real, definitely real.
04:23 - Real or fake?
04:23 - Well, I had never crossed my mind that it was fake
04:26 until Kevin just brought it up
04:27 and then explained to me a lot.
04:28 - I'm thinking it's a publicity stunt.
04:30 - I'm leaning towards--
04:31 - On whose behalf, Lisa Anne's or Matt Rife's?
04:34 - Neither.
04:36 So Lisa, so the story goes that Lisa said
04:41 they allege that she took her phone out
04:43 or touched her phone in a comedy show,
04:46 Matt Rife, not allowed to do that,
04:48 and then got kicked out.
04:49 Now she was fully handcuffed and dragged out of the arena.
04:54 Immediately, that was up on her Instagram,
04:58 it was tweeted about, she had a story
05:00 that was a made video with her tweet in it,
05:05 and then when she posted on Instagram,
05:06 she collabed with a podcast called Pillow Talk,
05:11 which is like a porn star podcast.
05:13 So if you're collabing with somebody on Instagram,
05:16 that to me usually is for publicity.
05:19 So if all of a sudden, within minutes of the story
05:23 coming out of her being arrested,
05:25 she's got a collab post on Instagram
05:26 with a porn star podcast,
05:28 I'm starting to think that something is up right there.
05:31 'Cause also, who else has ever been handcuffed
05:33 and dragged out for the phone?
05:35 - Well, that's what I was gonna say,
05:37 is in my experience, the NYPD doesn't participate
05:40 in publicity stunts.
05:41 (laughing)
05:42 So you gotta go for it.
05:43 (laughing)
05:45 Like, they're gonna arrest you.
05:47 - They're gonna put cheeseburgers in the cell
05:48 like you guys were.
05:49 (laughing)
05:51 - They like, I think, so now that I'm processing all this,
05:55 I think she actually got arrested.
05:58 - But it's for publicity.
05:59 Got it, yeah, that's maybe how I should've phrased it as.
06:03 'Cause yeah, those cops were like, in uniform,
06:06 looked like real handcuffs, real police officers,
06:09 that shit, unless you're like full-blown hired actors.
06:11 So I think that--
06:12 - Why wouldn't Matt Reif stop this though?
06:14 'Cause I bet she did touch her phone.
06:16 I bet she's lying about that.
06:17 But it seems like she really got taken out of the concert.
06:20 But why wouldn't he, like the crowd work genius,
06:23 why wouldn't he just be like, "Oh, like, sweetie."
06:25 - All the more reason, you know?
06:26 - Yeah, just to drum it up a little bit.
06:28 - And I'm sure, I mean, I'm sure Lisa Ann's been in contact
06:31 with Matt Reif before, one way or another.
06:33 So I don't think this is something like,
06:34 "Oh, I didn't know she was at my show."
06:36 - Yeah, Lisa Ann doesn't show up many places,
06:39 but people don't know Lisa Ann's there.
06:40 - Dude, you can't go anywhere in America
06:43 without knowing who Lisa Ann is.
06:45 - Whenever Lisa Ann goes to, on like a date
06:48 with like a college athlete or something like that,
06:51 or like a publicity stunt--
06:52 - Some autistic foul ball catcher.
06:53 - Yeah, yeah.
06:54 (laughing)
06:55 Or Mantis or something like that.
06:57 Like, is she fucking these people?
07:00 - I always wondered that.
07:02 I feel like she doesn't fuck 'em.
07:03 - I think she doesn't as well.
07:05 - I think she's a classy lady.
07:07 - I think Michelle Ryan fucks 'em.
07:09 I think Michelle Ryan fucks 'em.
07:11 - I think Michelle Ryan's very public
07:13 about like, "I fucked that entire baseball team."
07:15 (laughing)
07:16 - I don't think.
07:17 - I don't think we're talking out of school here.
07:18 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
07:19 I've had no personal conversations with Michelle Ryan
07:22 that I was like--
07:23 - That sounds like a guy who's fucked Michelle Ryan.
07:24 (laughing)
07:26 - You didn't talk.
07:27 It was all business.
07:28 No conversations took place.
07:30 (laughing)
07:32 You got right to fucking.
07:33 - There's certain, like Adriana Cechik
07:35 was fucking Uber drivers, for sure.
07:37 Lisa Ann was like, "I have a podcast.
07:39 "I'm going on radio shows.
07:40 "I have like a whole second career.
07:41 "I'm doing this for publicity.
07:43 "I'm not fucking."
07:44 But actually, at the same time,
07:45 I think if she wanted to at the end of the night,
07:47 she would.
07:48 If it went well, she'd be like, "All right, I'll fuck you."
07:50 Sound like I won't, but I'm not going into it like,
07:52 "Hey, we're definitely fucking."
07:53 - Yeah.
07:54 But she also likes proximity to hot young boys,
07:56 which I think is why she's at a Matt Rife show.
07:58 She just wants to be seen.
08:01 She wants people to have the idea
08:02 that she's fucking Matt Rife. - Ironically, though,
08:03 if you don't go to a Matt Rife show
08:05 to be around hot young boys--
08:06 - That is, it's old,
08:07 horny ladies. - We should go
08:08 to a Shane Gillis show, you know what I mean?
08:09 - Yeah, you clean up. - Right.
08:10 Should go to a Shane Gillis show
08:11 if you wanna be around young men.
08:12 (laughing)
08:14 Which is our next topic.
08:15 Shane gets the nod for SNL,
08:19 kinda closing the loop on the entire
08:21 Shane Gillis, SNL saga.
08:23 - They should do an Asian podcast bit.
08:27 (laughing)
08:29 Him and Bo and Yang.
08:29 - That would be so good.
08:31 Is that guy still there?
08:32 - Yeah.
08:33 - 'Cause he went hard, right?
08:34 - I don't know if he did,
08:35 but he was like the,
08:37 like they were like,
08:38 man, there's still been so much negative backlash about it
08:41 because they're like,
08:42 "It's so unfair what Bo and had to go through."
08:45 Like I'm seeing these tweets
08:46 and like Reddit posts of people like just so furious.
08:50 - What did Bo and Yang have to go through?
08:51 - It's like his moment was stolen by Shane Gillis,
08:55 like getting, like taking off the show.
08:57 - Was Bo and a hired cast member at the same time?
08:59 - Yeah, they both got hired simultaneously.
09:01 - Oh, okay.
09:02 So that's what, okay.
09:03 - Yeah.
09:06 - I, I, uh.
09:07 - It's awesome.
09:10 - Would you, would you go back on?
09:11 If you were--
09:12 - If you're him?
09:13 - Yeah.
09:14 - Yeah, I mean, he's on,
09:15 he's on his own belt to ass tour.
09:16 He's like, he's like fucking,
09:18 he's whipping everybody's ass right now.
09:20 - I mean, he's the one right now.
09:21 He's like, took over the game.
09:23 You know?
09:24 - Not even just, yeah.
09:25 - I saw on BFFs,
09:26 I'd actually heard this idea elsewhere.
09:28 Maybe that person heard it from BFFs,
09:30 but I saw a clip the other day
09:31 of them talking about he's Taylor Swift for men.
09:34 - The female, yeah, the male Taylor Swift.
09:35 - And which I, I, I get as someone who loves both.
09:39 I, I find myself on an island sometimes with Taylor Swift,
09:43 not on an island,
09:43 but people be like, you're a crazy person, whatever.
09:46 And I can see the parallel.
09:48 - I feel like Shane's comedy translates to women though.
09:53 I don't think it's like, like,
09:55 like I don't think girls necessarily are like
09:57 falling over for Matt Rife,
09:58 but like, if you see Shane, Shane's act,
10:01 and you're a girl, you're like, this is fucking funny.
10:02 - Almost 100% of my female friends love--
10:05 - Once you know, yeah.
10:06 - But guys talk about Shane.
10:08 - Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
10:09 - And I think Taylor's in the same way.
10:10 - Right, right, right.
10:11 - Guys like Taylor Swift.
10:12 - Right, so it's the obsessive fans of each are the weirdos.
10:14 - Yes.
10:15 - Yeah, that makes sense.
10:16 - Yeah, and I feel like it's a way to contextualize him
10:18 to be like, dude, he's like, for guys,
10:20 he's like the one.
10:21 - The one.
10:21 - Like guys are obsessed with him.
10:22 And I think his podcast, maybe it used,
10:25 or it was used to be like very like insular.
10:29 I feel like I talked about this with him one time
10:31 on his show, like, like I would put it on
10:32 and my wife would be like, what is this?
10:34 They're just talking about jerking off
10:35 and farting the entire time.
10:37 It's like very guys being guys type of shit.
10:40 But he's fucking--
10:42 - Dude, that and the Bud Light partnership.
10:44 - He's on a rocket ship.
10:45 - Is that real?
10:46 - I don't know.
10:47 - Yes, it is real, yes.
10:47 - It looks like it's me.
10:48 He's at the distillery and everything,
10:50 which is a very smart move on their part to be like,
10:53 'cause I'm sure they're still reeling
10:55 from all their political shit where it's like,
10:56 okay, well, now what?
10:57 - Yeah.
10:58 - Now we got Shane.
10:59 - Yeah, exactly.
11:00 - Look, everybody drinks Bud Light.
11:01 - Yeah, it's such a coup.
11:04 And I'm sure that there'll be like more
11:05 super bullshit with it.
11:07 Like, it's like, obviously the timing is very,
11:10 you can connect the dots, you know what I mean?
11:12 Like he's fucking just on top of the world right now.
11:14 - Magic carpet ride, so.
11:16 - And I really think that like,
11:17 he went on everybody's podcast.
11:20 Like, I think he went on Blind Mike's podcast.
11:22 Like, he went on everybody's podcast,
11:25 like the entire time coming up, every comedian.
11:28 Like, he just like sowed the seeds
11:30 of everybody being able to root for him.
11:32 - It's a very weird thing when you're that good.
11:35 And like, it just goes to show that making it
11:38 is like, is more than just being good.
11:41 'Cause you have to like, wait your time
11:44 and like do it all the right way.
11:45 Because it was never like, oh, Shane really got good.
11:48 It was like, he was always lights out funny
11:50 as soon as I like started to know his material.
11:52 But you still just have to like, get through the machine,
11:55 get the country to know about, you know what I mean?
11:57 It was never like anything changed with him.
12:00 It was just more like the change came with the audience
12:04 and like the whole industry.
12:06 But I mean--
12:06 - And now he's rich as fuck.
12:07 - Now it's like, fucking forget about Shane.
12:10 - It is crazy too, like seeing his influence already.
12:14 Where like, you go to a comedy club,
12:16 like every white guy is gonna joke about how
12:20 he looks like he went from J6.
12:22 He looks like, and like, I don't feel like
12:24 there was that kind of like conservative comedy,
12:28 I guess before Shane.
12:30 And not that Shane's, I'm not saying that
12:31 one way or the other, but the like,
12:34 I feel like people wouldn't joke like that.
12:35 - Popularize that, right.
12:36 - Shane kind of was like--
12:36 - Kind of paved that way.
12:37 - Made it funny and then that made it okay
12:39 for other people to be less funny about it,
12:41 but do it.
12:42 - But still do the act.
12:42 - I think his first jokes that were going viral
12:44 during the pandemic were, it was like,
12:47 Tim Dillon and him were both doing it like
12:48 very funny stuff and it was on Twitter at the same time.
12:51 But his jokes were like, Trump is funny.
12:54 Like, it's funny.
12:55 And everybody was so like, fuck this guy,
12:59 fuck Donald Trump at the time that it was almost
13:01 like a revolutionary take to be like,
13:03 hey, like, let's take a step back.
13:04 - But it's just funny.
13:05 - This is funny.
13:06 - I remember it was like a filmed camera
13:08 from like a comedy club.
13:10 It was probably right around the pandemic,
13:11 like you're saying.
13:12 And it was like him doing the, like,
13:14 can we do, are we all, there's no time passed
13:17 to say like, I mean, he wanted to nuke a hurricane.
13:21 That was funny.
13:21 And it was like, it wasn't booze,
13:23 but it wasn't laughter either.
13:25 And it was so fucking funny, the way he was saying it,
13:27 what he was saying.
13:29 And it's not a revolutionary idea,
13:33 but he is definitely the first like popular person
13:35 I saw being like, hey, this is funny.
13:38 - Especially like during this climate.
13:41 - Yeah.
13:41 - Like we can laugh at this.

14:16 What else we got?
14:19 - Grammys.
14:20 - The Grammys were last night.
14:21 Taylor announces a new album.
14:24 She wins.
14:25 - Clean.
14:26 - Killer Mike sweeps all the big rap categories.
14:29 - Gets arrested.
14:30 - Gets arrested afterwards.
14:31 - That's what I'm wondering, fake or real?
14:33 - What? I don't even really, I just saw the headline.
14:35 I don't know the details.
14:36 - It was like he tried to like blow past security
14:37 or something like that.
14:38 Like, I don't know.
14:41 It all seems so like overblown.
14:46 - I did love that speech though.
14:48 Killer Mike's speech in the end was great
14:49 when he was like, it's never too late.
14:50 It's never too late.
14:52 And now, I mean, getting arrested at the Grammys,
14:54 now he has like three more albums of shit to rap about.
14:57 - Yeah.
14:58 - I mean, arrested at the Grammys is like the greatest
15:00 fucking album title of all time.
15:02 - Second greatest.
15:03 - But behind, what is it?
15:05 Like the group of angry group of scientists?
15:07 - The Tortured Poets or some shit?
15:08 - The Tortured Poets Society.
15:10 - Good to see that Taylor's not gonna be dramatic
15:11 or anything.
15:12 - Well, did you see that was her ex-boyfriend's
15:15 group chat name?
15:16 - Oh, that's funny.
15:18 - It was the Tortured Men's Society or something like that.
15:20 I forget exactly.
15:21 It's something, it's definitely a play.
15:24 In a variety, actors on actors,
15:26 he was talking to Paul Mezcal about how they had a
15:29 group chat with, I always forget his name,
15:32 the hot priest in Fleabag.
15:34 Andrew Scott.
15:37 - The hot priest.
15:39 - I said hot, and Stefan already had it out.
15:41 (laughing)
15:44 They had, I forget exactly what their group chat was called,
15:48 but it's very clearly the same thing.
15:51 - A parallel.
15:52 - And then, Dove gave a speech,
15:54 very honest speech about the Grammys
15:55 and how they usually, for a long time,
15:58 didn't get rap nominations right.
16:00 He said a bunch of people are gonna get robbed tonight.
16:03 A bunch of people don't even belong
16:04 to be in the conversation,
16:06 which is, I think, very, very true about the Grammys.
16:09 A lot of times, there are people who are like,
16:10 "What song won?"
16:11 And then there are people getting totally snubbed.
16:14 And then there are people who are like,
16:15 "You shouldn't even be in these categories."
16:17 - I think TikTok has vastly changed the discourse
16:20 of what music is.
16:22 I think this year, I listened to less music
16:24 than I've ever listened to before.
16:27 And it was--
16:27 - Certainly less, like albums.
16:28 - Yeah, definitely not full chunk albums.
16:31 And most of the songs that are popular this year,
16:33 you're like, "Oh, I know that 15 seconds of it."
16:36 - So what do you think about this,
16:37 with universal pulling from TikTok?
16:39 Do you think that helps or hurts?
16:42 - I mean, I don't know what the deal was,
16:45 'cause everybody's like,
16:46 and Trevor Noah's, in his monologue,
16:49 he was like, "Shame on TikTok
16:52 for stealing the money from all these people.
16:53 That's supposed to be Spotify's job."
16:55 Which is a good joke.
16:56 - Yeah, yeah, I was gonna say.
16:56 - That's a good joke.
16:57 - There's, nobody is for the people or the music.
17:01 All these people are fucking bloodsuckers, you know?
17:03 But the other two major labels all,
17:07 apparently, very quickly struck a fair deal with TikTok,
17:09 and were like, "We're good."
17:11 - TikTok is how music grows now, though.
17:12 Like TikTok is how--
17:13 - Well, right, but so it's like,
17:17 I'm almost happy about,
17:19 I almost wish all music was off of TikTok,
17:22 because then you wouldn't be making your music for TikTok.
17:24 - Yeah, but it's like a marketing tool for the artist.
17:27 So it's like, that's your social media page.
17:29 How do you get your new song out here?
17:31 - Noah Kahan had a video being like,
17:33 "Oh man, wouldn't it be terrible
17:35 if you were a young, up-and-coming artist
17:38 who used TikTok to grow your brand?
17:40 That would be terrible if that was you."
17:41 - Right, like you're saying about TikTok is,
17:43 I'm sure it's what people said about radio.
17:45 We're like, "Well, they're just trying to make radio hits."
17:47 And like-- - True.
17:49 - It's kind of how-- - How it goes, yeah.
17:51 - It goes, right?
17:52 - But it's a little bit extreme to be like,
17:54 just make this like chorus, you know what I mean?
17:56 I mean, every song is two minutes.
17:57 There's no songs that seem like three minutes long anymore.
18:00 You just have a chorus or--
18:02 - It's like a stream.
18:02 - Ice Spice is a single line.
18:04 It's like, just make one line and you got a song.
18:06 - Ice Spice, you know how to shit, you're the fart?
18:08 - Yeah, yeah.
18:09 - You think you're the shit, you're not even a fart.
18:10 Which is great, by the way, not hating that.
18:13 But the world needs songs like that,
18:14 but the world also needs some of the regular.
18:15 But I mean, yeah, I think none of the,
18:18 the amount of money, I think it was like $110 million
18:21 or something like that, which is like peanuts.
18:23 You know, like we're talking about--
18:23 - If I was Noah Cahan or whatever,
18:24 how do you say his name, Cahan?
18:25 - I don't know, I said Cahan, but--
18:26 - I said Cahan, but I don't know why that--
18:28 - I'm switching labels.
18:30 I'm going to a different label.
18:31 If I want my shit to be on TikTok,
18:33 am I labels telling me it can't be because, like what?
18:35 - At this point, I don't know, I always go back and forth.
18:38 Maybe you would know better being in music.
18:40 Like, I guess they can get you,
18:43 like they make arrangements for your live shows
18:45 and they get you studios and shit like that.
18:47 But like, aside from the physical stuff,
18:49 what's the label doing for you?
18:51 - Well, every label also does that.
18:52 There's somebody at the label who can get you studio time.
18:54 There's somebody who can book your live shows.
18:56 - So what does Universal do other than hold me back
18:59 from the biggest social media platform?
19:00 - And maybe you're locked into a certain number of,
19:03 you know, records with them.
19:05 But at the same time, I wouldn't be chomping
19:07 at the dint of time with them.
19:08 - They would have to be like,
19:10 sorry about TikTok, but like, look, we're doing this.
19:13 You know what I mean?
19:14 They gotta be making it up to you in some other ways.
19:14 - Right, what other thing are they doing?
19:15 They're like, oh, you're gonna,
19:16 I mean, maybe it's a money thing.
19:17 Maybe it's like you're gonna get XYZ more money.
19:19 - That would make me sound like Universal.
19:21 Fuck TikTok if you just pay me.
19:23 - But they're making money off TikTok too.
19:24 Like, it's, I don't know.
19:26 I think it's a very tough spot.
19:26 - I think Universal said something like,
19:29 TikTok is like point whatever percent of our entire endeavor.
19:33 Which is, yeah, of course,
19:34 Universal's like the biggest fucking thing in the world.
19:36 But for your artist, it's like,
19:38 well, it might mean nothing to you,
19:39 but it's like the most important thing in the world.
19:42 - Can they not even be on TikTok?
19:43 Or they can't have their music?
19:45 - Oh yeah, I think you can still be on it.
19:47 But all those songs, people dancing,
19:49 like Universal, I think has like a third of all music.
19:52 It's like a lot.
19:53 - And it's like where,
19:54 it's not only where your music gets out there,
19:55 but it's like a hub for your fans to be fans of you.
19:58 Like if you, like, I mean,
20:00 I know Zach Bryan plays like every song
20:02 that he's gonna put out on social media
20:04 before he puts it out.
20:06 Like he just crushes it as part of the machine.
20:08 So it kind of sucks for them.
20:10 Miley Cyrus though, she won.
20:13 That was sick.
20:13 Billie Eilish also won.
20:14 That was sick.
20:15 Big fans of both.
20:16 - They, apparently she named everybody under the sun
20:19 except for Billy Ray.
20:21 - Yeah, so that was--
20:22 - That was kind of the big--
20:23 - Yeah, she was like-- - Something up with her dad.
20:23 - Is there anybody else?
20:24 I don't think I missed anybody at all,
20:26 but she shouted out her mom, her sisters,
20:28 she's like everybody under the sun.
20:29 So I don't know if that was a subliminal or a blatant shot,
20:33 but Miley pulls down.
20:35 So I mean, Taylor, Miley, Jay.
20:38 - I gotta give a quick shout out to Dante the Don
20:40 working in the Illuminati with Jay-Z.
20:43 - Oh yeah.
20:44 - Yeah, Dante crazy hour.
20:46 Check out the dog on Friday.
20:48 - What happened?
20:49 - Dante was just like, of course the office
20:51 is gonna have the Illuminati here and Jay-Z.
20:54 And then--
20:55 - When did this happen?
20:56 When you were on the Blackout tour was Dante crazy?
20:57 - No.
20:58 - Well yes, but not like this.
20:59 - No, yeah, like he's,
21:00 like I thought he was like a normal dude.
21:02 He's like, I'm a DJ, we party, we play music,
21:04 we fuck, we dance, we drink, like normal shit.
21:07 And then my second go round with him in the company
21:10 is like, he's a go bag panic room, you know.
21:15 - That one right there, you just go past.
21:15 - Civil wars on the brink.
21:16 - Is my favorite where someone's like,
21:18 look, they're throwing up the Illuminati sign
21:20 in the front row.
21:21 Jay-Z literally has that hand gesture
21:23 trademarked as the rock.
21:24 - I mean, come on.
21:28 - Look at that, it's clear, Illuminati,
21:29 they're not even trying to hide it anymore.
21:31 Jay-Z, I think has a song called
21:33 "The Rocks in the Sky."
21:34 - Dante knows the fucking Dynasty sign, that's crazy.
21:38 - Yeah, that's so crazy.
21:40 Or that Jay-Z would be the one of everybody in the show
21:43 that's an industry plant.
21:45 Not anybody else.
21:47 He didn't even like put out any music this year.
21:49 It's like.
21:50 - Crazy, crazy.
21:51 What else we got?
21:54 Body armor today is, we got body armor all over the house.
21:58 We got the body armor zero.
22:00 We got body armor light.
22:02 We got the body armor water.
22:04 We got fruit punch here.
22:05 This is good.
22:06 Have you had this?
22:07 - I've had the strawberry banana.
22:09 - Lemon lime, this has zero sugar, zero calories, whatever.
22:13 And tastes like,
22:14 read that.
22:16 - It's nice.
22:17 - Like it's like your,
22:19 like usually stuff that's zero sugar is like, yeah.
22:21 Right?
22:22 - Take a whack of it.
22:23 It reminds me of summer camp.
22:24 - That's what I was gonna say,
22:25 like your sports drink in the summertime.
22:27 - Oh yeah, some bug juice.
22:29 - For not having any calories,
22:31 usually you gotta like load it up with sugar
22:32 to get that flavor.
22:33 So I recommend the lemon lime, the fruit punch here.
22:36 There's the zero sugar.
22:37 There's the regular, there's the orange.
22:40 - Electrolyte one.
22:41 - Electrolyte one that has the mango, orange, strawberry,
22:43 all sorts, strawberry, orange, banana, all these flavors.
22:46 And then we also just got the fat bottles of water
22:50 with the perfect mouth.
22:51 - Drinkability.
22:52 - Yeah, that wide mouth is key.
22:56 So stay hydrated, no artificial sweetener.
22:59 That body armor zero.
23:01 - Electrolytes too.
23:01 Like if you wanna be hydrated, it's not just water.
23:03 You need the electrolytes.
23:05 - Yep.
23:06 So available in stores nationwide,
23:08 or you can head over to the Body Armor store on Amazon
23:12 and get yours today.
23:13 Last, I don't really care about that.
23:17 Do we have anything else?
23:18 - Pat Mahomes' dad, DUI?
23:19 - I mean, I don't think we have.
23:20 - I can't, I just can't believe he's only 53.
23:23 - Pat Mahomes' dad was a Met, so.
23:27 - Was he?
23:28 - Yeah, Pat Mahomes.
23:29 - In the 80s, right?
23:29 - No, no, in like 2000s.
23:31 Like early 2000, late 90s, early 2000.
23:33 I think he was on the 2000 World Series team.
23:36 - Really?
23:37 - Yeah.
23:38 - He's 53.
23:39 - That's so young.
23:40 - Yeah, so like I've always had this weird thing
23:42 where it's like I kinda, sorta root for Patrick Mahomes
23:45 because of that.
23:45 He's facing jail time this time.
23:47 Like, first of all, he's not going to jail, come on.
23:50 Patrick Mahomes is gonna be like,
23:51 you're not sending my dad to jail.
23:52 - Yeah.
23:53 - I don't know.
23:54 It's America.
23:55 If we can't prop up our quarterbacks
23:57 and make sure that your dad doesn't have to go to jail
23:59 for drinking a couple pops,
24:00 then what is this country at all?
24:02 - Well, I'll say this.
24:04 We're gonna talk goat talk.
24:06 Tom Brady's dad gets a DUI, big story.
24:10 Big story.
24:11 We're not doing, I don't wanna talk about it.
24:13 We're doing fucking, oh, is he a good dad?
24:16 How did he, what did Peyton Manning's dad do?
24:18 - No, but Tom Brady's dad,
24:19 there's nowhere he's going where he's getting the DUI.
24:22 - Yeah, yeah.
24:23 - Where does he live?
24:24 - That's a good point.
24:25 - California.
24:26 - Yeah, he gets pulled over.
24:27 - There's no way.
24:29 - I think Pat Mahomes deserves the same treatment too.
24:30 Pat Mahomes Sr., so let him live.
24:33 - Let him live.
24:34 Let CJ Strauss dad out.
24:35 - Yeah.
24:37 - Free the dads.
24:38 If you become a quarterback.
24:38 - Isn't that dope?
24:39 When people are like, yo, free CJ Strauss dad,
24:41 it's like, don't.
24:42 - I don't think, I think it's like don't.
24:44 I don't think, I think it's like don't.
24:45 Don't free him.
24:46 Don't free them at all.
24:47 We'll do Joel Embiid a second.
24:49 Are you up on Aiden Ross and his live streams at all?
24:53 - With the 21 Savage stuff?
24:54 - 21 Savage and then what happened
24:56 with Playboy Cardi last night?
24:57 - What was it?
24:58 - I'm gonna look at 'em for Aiden Ross.
24:59 So 21 Savage, this was a couple days ago.
25:01 They were playing games on a live stream
25:05 and they started drawing cards.
25:07 Whoever draws the highest card wins.
25:09 And these guys allegedly do it for monster money.
25:12 So there was like 250K on the line
25:15 and 21 Savage beats him like a thousand times in a row.
25:17 Every card he's pulling is a 10.
25:19 And he won like quarter of a million dollars off of him.
25:22 Somebody points out that the cards are marked.
25:24 And then on the live stream, Aiden Ross looks at it
25:26 and he's like, and he shows it to 21 Savage.
25:29 He's like, look at this.
25:30 Like, look, see this mark?
25:31 Like the six doesn't have it like this queen does.
25:33 And you see 21 Savage like leans in and he's like,
25:36 oh bro.
25:38 And he realizes he's caught and he's like,
25:41 so what do you wanna do about this?
25:42 And Aiden Ross is like, just get me back on 2K.
25:45 We'll just bet on 2K.
25:47 And he's like, all right, cool.
25:48 And 21 Savage says that someone on his team
25:51 was the one who went ahead and did that.
25:53 But if you're the one drawing the cards,
25:56 there's also footage of 21 Savage being like,
26:00 out of here.
26:03 There's like footage of him like--
26:04 - I also saw footage of him very,
26:05 like if it's like draw a card, you just grab one.
26:07 I saw footage of him being like looking through the pile
26:10 and it's like, dude, bro, just take one.
26:12 - If 21 Savage is doing that kind of stuff too,
26:15 this sounds like the fakest thing of all time.
26:16 - So this is also a guy who's British
26:19 and pretends to be from Atlanta.
26:21 (laughing)
26:21 Pretty shocked that this guy's pretending to be--
26:23 - But I mean like the stream,
26:25 like he would be more subtle.
26:27 If he knows I'm on a live stream, he wouldn't be like,
26:29 don't.
26:30 - So that's where, so Aiden Ross in general
26:32 has done shit before with Drake where he like,
26:35 you know that, what's that?
26:36 They do some gambling thing online.
26:38 - Right.
26:39 - And he hit for like $2 million
26:41 and Drake was on FaceTime with him and it's like,
26:44 ah, and it was, everyone was like,
26:45 this is the biggest publicity stunt ever.
26:46 So I don't think he's above any of these publicity stunts.
26:51 Then fast forward to Grammy night,
26:53 he paid, allegedly paid Playboy Cardi $2 million
26:56 and flew him out on a private jet
26:58 and gave him a Ferrari to come on his live stream.
27:02 Playboy Cardi shows up in a weird mask,
27:05 goes on the stream for six minutes,
27:07 Aiden Ross gives him a fat duffel bag of cash
27:10 and he just leaves and Aiden Ross is like,
27:13 oh, all right, you're gonna leave now?
27:15 Okay man, like what can I do about it?
27:17 Comes back on the stream and is like,
27:18 like, you know, you guys can tell me,
27:21 you can put L's in the chat all you want,
27:22 like we paid him, we were gonna do a deal with him
27:25 and he just bounced.
27:26 So I don't know, the whole thing,
27:27 the streaming world to me is like the new frontier
27:30 that I'm like too much of an old man.
27:31 I'm like, I don't know what's what,
27:33 but all of it feels like a publicity stunt to me.
27:35 - Yeah.
27:36 - Why would 21 Savage agree to be like,
27:38 all right, we can do a publicity stunt
27:39 where I look like a thieving cheat?
27:41 - That's what I, yeah,
27:42 that's where it doesn't make much sense.
27:44 So--
27:45 - He was trying to, I think he was--
27:46 - But also like why, like it's a lot of money,
27:50 but it's like to be like, all right,
27:51 let's scam Aiden Ross out of like 200 grand on cards
27:55 seems ridiculous too.
27:56 Like that's so stupid.
27:57 - But I think that they gamble like that.
27:58 I don't know, I think that he was legitimately
28:00 like scamming him.
28:01 - Yeah, that I could--
28:02 - Really?
28:03 - I think that it's--
28:04 - 'Cause he also was like,
28:04 like he would be like cocky about it.
28:07 He'd be like--
28:07 - Call me dad now.
28:08 - Call me daddy, call me dad, I say dad now,
28:09 we're about to flip it over.
28:10 He was so confident he was gonna win every time.
28:12 But how stupid you have to be to say,
28:14 it wasn't me that marked the cards, someone else did it.
28:16 But if you're the one drawing them,
28:17 you're looking for the marked cards.
28:19 If you were just grabbing random and like,
28:22 you know, you didn't know, but,
28:23 dude, the streaming world is like,
28:28 man, we missed the boat on that one.
28:29 We probably should have been streaming five years ago.
28:31 These guys are making so much fucking money.
28:34 - That's why, yeah.
28:35 - To just like hang out.
28:36 - They're giving away money.
28:37 They're just like giving like ruffle bags
28:38 of money to each other.
28:39 - I wonder if it's a bigger thing.
28:41 That's where like, if 21 Savage is like,
28:43 makes me look like a scheming scammer,
28:45 but there's, he said, there's somebody named Eddie,
28:47 who I think maybe runs the kick streamer or whatever.
28:49 - Well, Eddie Ross--
28:50 - If you're talking about monster money,
28:51 like we all, we need to fabricate some drama here.
28:53 So you gotta be the scammer,
28:54 but you get fucking $5 million.
28:55 - I think Eddie Ross owns 30% of, is it kick, right?
28:59 - That's what they were gonna offer Playboy.
29:01 They said like, we had Playboy,
29:03 we had Cardi set up with like a new deal, massive money.
29:07 It was supposed to like all go down like after this.
29:09 And he just bounced off the stream.
29:11 So again, but I'm like, I don't know,
29:13 we're talking about it.
29:14 It's all--
29:15 - Some of these streamers are the worst people alive,
29:17 specifically Jack Doherty.
29:20 - I don't know that one.
29:21 What does he do?
29:22 - Any of you know who this dude is?
29:23 Every clip you'll see of him
29:25 will be worse than the next clip.
29:26 - What does he do?
29:27 - He's like a 13 year old looking kid who just like,
29:31 he has like security guards
29:33 and he just walks around and like fucks with people.
29:35 And he'll be like, what are you gonna do about it?
29:37 And then his like six foot six black security guard
29:40 will have to like get in their face and shit like that.
29:42 Like he's always starting a fight.
29:44 He's always getting in some trouble.
29:46 He is like--
29:47 - And he makes bank?
29:49 - He's yes, 100%.
29:50 And he's like the perfect personification
29:52 of the worst being.
29:53 - That haircut is terrible.
29:54 - He's like the funnel of society,
29:57 like just drawing to the absolute dread.
29:59 - Is that dude his security guard?
30:00 That big black guy?
30:02 That's the guy he walks around with?
30:03 - Exactly.
30:04 He has a bunch of them.
30:06 - Yeah, this guy sucks.
30:08 But like the other dude, like Kai Sinan,
30:09 those guys who are just like--
30:10 - Kai Sinan's the man.
30:11 - We just like play video games and listen to music
30:13 and sometimes celebrities show up
30:14 and we make like money hand over fist.
30:16 It's incredible.
30:17 - Yeah, I show speed, demand.
30:19 - 21 Savage did it to Kai before he,
30:21 so he already played.
30:23 - Yeah, so then 21 Savage called up and was like,
30:25 he's on the stream.
30:26 He's like, you gave Playboy Recording $2 million?
30:28 It's like, how come you didn't pay me?
30:30 I would be like, motherfucker,
30:30 you just scammed me out of a quarter of a million.
30:33 So the whole streamer thing right now is absolutely bananas.
30:37 I'm sure some of it's fake, some of it's real,
30:38 but all of it is very real money.
30:40 So we need--
30:43 - To get in the world?
30:43 - I mean, it's lights out for someone like me.
30:47 I'm old and shit, just put me out the past year.
30:49 But if you were young, I mean, if Brianna did a stream
30:54 or some shit like that, if you're young
30:55 and you can play video games or just be,
30:58 you gotta be wild charismatic to just put on the camera
31:00 and be confident that you're like,
31:03 just you fucking around is gonna be enough
31:05 for hundreds of thousands of people who are watching.
31:07 There was 400,000 people waiting
31:09 for the Playboy Cardi thing.
31:11 And they're just like talking.
31:12 They're just like talking and being weird on stream.
31:15 It's the epitome of the internet being like
31:17 a bunch of weirdos.
31:18 That's what streamers are, so.
31:20 All right, so we'll be here all week.
31:21 Oh, and Joel Allenby, I saw he heard his knee is out.
31:24 - He's getting surgery.
31:25 He'll be out for months.
31:26 I don't know, sucks.
31:27 It sucks a big old, big fat dick.
31:29 But I hope--
31:30 - Officials like--
31:31 - I don't think he's done for the season, but--
31:33 - You don't think he's done for the season?
31:34 - I think he'll be back in like the playoffs
31:36 or something like that.
31:37 - Well, he usually shines there, so we'll be good.
31:39 Things always go well for the sixers in the playoffs,
31:41 so he'll be fine.
31:41 - Oh my God, it sucks so bad.
31:43 But I was saying earlier, if the sixers can't do it,
31:45 I hope the Knicks do.
31:47 - Dude, the Knicks, that trade,
31:49 I've never seen a trade flip things so fucking fast, man.
31:53 And then you see LeBron with the Knicks towel
31:55 last night, the other night?
31:56 - Yeah.
31:57 - In his post game, he put like very clearly
31:59 a Knicks towel around his shoulders.
32:01 It's like crazy, dude.
32:03 They went from like, you know, a good team
32:08 to being like, oh, they might be like
32:09 just one piece away now.
32:10 'Cause OG changed everything like overnight.
32:13 I've never seen a trade work that quickly.
32:15 People were like, some people were upset.
32:17 A lot of people like grew to like RJ Barrett.
32:19 They were like, oh, we still think he has a future here.
32:20 - The draft at RJ too.
32:21 - I mean, it quickly was like, what?
32:22 - They drafted quickly and Barrett.
32:24 - Yeah, so it was like, they want that to work.
32:26 And then within like a week, they were like,
32:28 they won like 11 of 13 and it was like, okay, nevermind.
32:30 We're good, have fun.
32:31 Yeah.
32:33 So yeah, that should be interesting.
32:35 But man, that sucks.
32:37 - Yeah, it's gonna be terrible.
32:38 But whatever, hopefully, I mean,
32:40 the Sixers will probably make some kind of move
32:42 or it will be my guess and get somebody else
32:44 try and win enough games to make it to the playoffs.
32:46 Get them beat healthy.
32:47 - Were you confident this year?
32:49 - More than I've ever been in my life.
32:51 (laughing)
32:53 - I don't even wanna make fun of you, man.
32:55 - It sucks so bad.
32:56 - I don't wanna kick you while you're down.
32:56 'Cause this one did feel like a,
32:58 or at least it felt like, if it's not now, it's never.
33:02 Like this is, I kept thinking.
33:04 - Yeah, that's what's also setting in.
33:05 - Yeah, but I've been saying,
33:07 I feel like I've been saying that for years,
33:08 being like, yo, the pro, like,
33:10 they had their shot, their window's closed,
33:12 and then B just keeps that motherfucker open.
33:14 - Right, he scored 70 points and shit.
33:16 - 70, something's gotta be up, though.
33:18 Like, it was like four people
33:20 who scored over 60 points that week.
33:21 That's crazy.
33:22 - Yeah, Steph just did it.
33:23 - Yeah, like, at some point, I don't know.
33:25 - Might be easy to score in the NBA.
33:27 NBA might be easy.
33:28 - At what point do we raise the hoop?
33:30 - That's a good-- - Think about it.
33:32 Like, it's the same shit when people,
33:33 we make fun of like when Bob Cousy's
33:35 like dribbling the ball funny and shit.
33:37 It's like, those guys are playing on the same shit?
33:40 Put it at 12 feet.
33:42 - That'd be sick. - We'll see who
33:43 could really fuck a ball.
33:44 - Yeah, see who can really dunk.
33:45 - Change the game.
33:46 - Or lower it, just get 200 point game.
33:48 - No, there's an Instagram account I follow
33:51 that is, I think it's called Legacy League.
33:53 They just have a full-blown league of eight foot,
33:56 it's like a men's league with eight foot hoops.
33:58 It's awesome. - Sick.
33:59 - It's so awesome. - Slam ball.
34:00 - They have people filming all your highlights.
34:02 They do like stats and everything,
34:03 and it's just like, you know,
34:04 washed up athletes who are throwing it down
34:06 and doing alley-oops and shit.
34:08 It's great. - It's amazing.
34:10 - All right, that's it for us.
34:11 So everybody will have Barstool Live.
34:14 - Wait, I got one more question.
34:15 - Oh yeah, go ahead.
34:16 - You think that Ohio Tate should have to come to New York?
34:19 - Oh, I didn't think about that.
34:21 He's full-time, he's gotta like go somewhere, right?
34:23 - Yeah. - He can't just stay in New York.
34:25 - You think he should have to go?
34:26 - I mean, yeah, he has to.
34:27 - I think, I would think he goes to,
34:31 I don't know what full-time means.
34:32 - But like his whole-- - A lot of full-time, rural.
34:35 - You know, his whole thing is Nate and Kelly.
34:37 - I would think he goes to Chicago.
34:40 - Probably just because of proximity
34:42 and all the shit going on there.
34:43 - Are you saying he has to come for a week?
34:45 - Yeah, yeah, he has to come--
34:45 - He's at least gotta-- - He has to come--
34:47 - He should-- - Go face.
34:49 - He can go wherever he wants.
34:51 You know, you get to decide your own life choices.
34:53 But his beginning, his full-time announcement
34:57 should be in New York.
34:59 - Yeah. - Like with Nate,
35:00 with Kelly, do all that, and then you go back home.
35:03 - I would think they're not gonna do it.
35:06 I would think they'd be like, "I'm not doing that."
35:08 - Probably.
35:09 I mean, where would they do it?
35:10 - I don't know, just--
35:11 - Dave shutting shit down.
35:13 - What is the story with his--
35:13 - Dave's like Diddy in "Making the Band."
35:16 Closing down the studio.
35:17 Everybody out. - Walked to Junior's.
35:19 - What is the story with his refusing to run down?
35:23 - Who?
35:24 - I think Nate tweeted that like--
35:26 - Dave or Tate?
35:27 - Tate.
35:28 - Won't do the run down? - Nate wanted to do
35:29 a run down with him, Kelly, and Tate on Friday.
35:32 - Well, up until he went,
35:34 this is after he went full-time?
35:35 - Yes. - Oh.
35:36 'Cause I was gonna say his whole thing is--
35:37 - Is this the first run down since he went full-time?
35:41 - It might be, so I'm glad we're talking about it
35:43 before the run down gets canceled.
35:44 (laughing)
35:46 - Yeah, it's okay.
35:47 Is this, is this someone who does a run down now?
35:49 Is this the first run down since?
35:50 - I think it is. - Maybe we should
35:51 talk about it more.
35:52 - Was it last Friday?
35:53 - Was it Friday or Thursday?
35:54 I know Nate, I think, I think, I don't know.
35:56 I think Nate tweeted that he wanted to do a run down
35:58 with him, and he said, Tate said--
36:00 - This, the pressure is on, Tate, for sure.
36:02 Like, if you go full-time, and you,
36:06 and you don't have this excuse anymore,
36:08 you're gonna be on camera, you're gonna be on a mic,
36:11 all that shit, he's gotta do that.
36:14 - Yeah.
36:14 - 'Cause that's the only thing that was bullshit
36:16 about what he was doing, is like,
36:17 you're taking shots and like ruining people's
36:20 fucking jobs and days, while you're just like,
36:23 I'm a gym teacher, you know?
36:24 It's like, no, no, no, fuck that.
36:25 I would have doxxed him immediately.
36:27 The minute that like, he really was making my life
36:30 a hard time, I would just like,
36:31 first, last name, picture, and job.
36:32 Here you go, internet, fuck off.
36:34 - We just talked about KFC radio,
36:36 again, this is the first run down,
36:38 I guess we'll talk about it more.
36:38 We just talked about KFC radio a little bit.
36:40 What do you think, how do you think he is received
36:45 in the office if he comes?
36:47 - Which one?
36:48 - In New York.
36:49 Like, do you think, like, Kelly has said,
36:51 in no uncertain terms, she's like, I will kill him.
36:53 - Yeah, and I believe her.
36:55 - I was gonna say, I would not, I would not want that.
36:58 - I believe her, yo.
36:59 - I think the number one reason he's going to Chicago
37:00 is to avoid that smoke.
37:01 It's one thing over the internet,
37:02 it's another thing in real life.
37:03 - But if he is, if he really is dodging run downs,
37:07 and maybe he has reasons, maybe he doesn't, I don't know.
37:09 - You can't be that whole shtick he did,
37:12 and then be like, I don't wanna do the run down,
37:14 I don't wanna do radio, I don't wanna do podcasts.
37:16 - There must be something to it,
37:17 'cause otherwise I feel like they would just
37:18 revoke his full time.
37:19 You're like, well, you're not having fun,
37:20 you're not full time anymore.
37:21 - Right.
37:22 - 'Cause I do think, yeah, if you're gonna do, like,
37:25 the play to comment section stuff,
37:29 you gotta have, you gotta talk,
37:31 you gotta be able to do it on camera,
37:32 you gotta be able to do it to the people.
37:34 - I also don't even care about it as much
37:35 interpersonally within the office.
37:37 I just think that people who have, like,
37:40 problems with each other should go on shows
37:42 and talk about it.
37:43 - Hash it out.
37:44 - Like, Marty and Titus should go on a show together
37:46 and talk about it.
37:47 - That's what--
37:48 - What is the other thing?
37:49 - How long do we have?
37:50 - It's still the fucking time slots.
37:52 It all goes back to Barcelo Radio.
37:54 I'm like, we're still doing time slots on YouTube.
37:58 It's, I just can't stress to this company enough
38:00 how much that doesn't matter.
38:02 It means nothing.
38:05 Nothing, zero, zip, nada.
38:07 But he was mad that he had to start his show
38:10 an hour earlier because--
38:11 - Is that all because of Matt?
38:12 - Yeah, well, I know that was a part of it.
38:14 - There was stuff before that, though.
38:15 - Okay, that's what, 'cause I thought I saw--
38:16 - There was stuff before that about their,
38:18 about, like, Marty, or Titus and Tate had,
38:22 oh, Tate Marsh on their show,
38:25 and they were like, yeah, something about the other show
38:27 with Rico and Marty being a circus,
38:29 they're like, "How about we could get you away
38:30 "from the circus," or something like that.
38:32 And he took over it.
38:33 - Yeah, they've taken shots at PIX Central, and, you know.
38:34 - And they butted heads on stream, maybe.
38:36 - And I think, I think--
38:37 - He's still like, "You should."
38:38 - I think Brandon left PIX Walk, PIX Central,
38:41 to go to mostly sports, and I think Brandon openly was like,
38:44 "We're trying to be better than you."
38:46 - Right, and they wanted, I think they wanted Brandon
38:48 to do PIX Central remotely, when he was in Chicago,
38:53 and he's like, "No, I don't wanna do that,
38:55 "I wanna do a new show or something."
38:57 I don't know.
38:58 - So, yeah, there's some drama there.
38:59 That's what sucks about not having Barstool Radio,
39:00 is like, that's the place to do it.
39:03 It's one central, like, neutral site, basically.
39:06 You're not coming on my show, I'm not coming on your show,
39:08 it's just for this, and then, hopefully, you know,
39:11 you hash it out, and--
39:12 - Well, hopefully, Kurt, Dave, Witt.
39:15 - I don't think they're gonna, though,
39:17 like, those three, you think those three
39:19 are gonna have, like, Tate on?
39:21 I feel like they're gonna do their show,
39:23 and they're gonna talk about stuff,
39:25 but I don't know if they're gonna have--
39:25 - I think they should have Tate on.
39:27 They should have the people who are arguing
39:28 with each other on the show, and fucking hash it out.
39:30 - I think so, too, but, you know, I think that, like--
39:33 - Or we have them on Crossfire.
39:34 - Let's say if Kelly, Nate, and Tate are on a show
39:37 with Dave, Whitney, and Kirk,
39:39 who's doing most of the talking there, you know?
39:42 I feel it's more of, like, them talking about Barstool
39:45 than actually having those people on.
39:47 Maybe I'm wrong.
39:48 - I would venture to guess you're right.
39:49 - But just because it's, they're the three
39:50 biggest fucking personalities,
39:51 and then you're gonna have, you know,
39:54 people are gonna be like,
39:54 "I wanna hear Dave and Whitney talk,
39:56 "not Tate and Nate talk."
39:58 There needs to be, you know, a spot where--
40:00 - Tate and Nate sounds like a good--
40:01 - I said the Tate and Nate connection, man.
40:02 - Well, again, we just talked about--
40:03 - They're very similar.
40:04 - We just talked about the whole thing on KFC Radio,
40:08 and I didn't realize that Tate had left Barstool Idol
40:15 because he couldn't perform on camera.
40:18 Well, I guess he gave a different excuse, but--
40:19 - There was a--
40:20 - It seems to be that he left
40:22 'cause he couldn't perform on camera.
40:23 - He was far and away the leader in Barstool Idol,
40:28 and then there was a, you had to do standup.
40:30 You had to do a five-minute, just do something.
40:32 Could be standup, could be whatever,
40:34 but his performance bombed, totally.
40:39 And the next day, he was like,
40:40 "I'm pulling out of the crowd."
40:42 - But going into the Barstool Idol,
40:44 he had done, it was like,
40:46 he got in because he had won two competitions before.
40:49 And it's like, oh, this guy wins every competition he enters.
40:51 And so when it was clear, I don't even,
40:53 it was just some random competitions,
40:55 and we just made it into a thing.
40:56 Like, oh, he always wins a competition.
40:59 And then when it was clear he wasn't gonna win this,
41:01 I think he bowed out so he could be like,
41:03 "I still won the competition."
41:04 I think that was kind of the--
41:06 - Whatever it was, I just know he was the leader,
41:08 and I was like, "This guy's very clearly
41:10 "gonna win this competition."
41:11 And then it bombed. - And then he did
41:12 that live shit. - And then bounced
41:12 and was like, "I have a job and I can't be on camera."
41:15 It was like, mm, that's,
41:17 you didn't say that before you were doing this,
41:19 so I don't know. - Exactly.
41:20 - So that is, you know,
41:22 some people can write really well.
41:23 I mean, Nate and Taylor,
41:24 they might be the same exact person.
41:26 Some people can write really well,
41:27 and maybe it doesn't translate to podcast or video.
41:30 Maybe it will with him, we don't know.
41:32 We have to find out.
41:33 But I would think he needs to do something to New York.
41:35 But I don't know, maybe you're right.
41:36 I feel like Nate and Kelly would be like,
41:38 "What are we supposed to do now?"
41:39 - But I said that before remembering
41:41 that they'd offered to do a rundown.
41:43 So maybe they would.
41:44 - If there was an official offer to a rundown
41:47 and Tate said no, that needs to be a serious knock
41:50 on his resume right now. - Yeah, I don't know,
41:52 that's what the tweet says.
41:53 I don't know, I haven't spoken to anybody.
41:54 I don't know the ins and outs of that.
41:56 - Should we call Nate real quick?
41:57 - Or Tate Dog, should we call Tate Dog?
41:58 (laughing)
42:00 - Let's, let me do a FaceTime with the dog.
42:05 Nate's gonna be like, "I know,
42:09 "you're not putting me on camera."
42:10 (laughing)
42:13 What's up, dog?
42:14 It's me, what, he says.
42:16 It's John, Roan, and me on the rundown.
42:18 - On the rundown.
42:19 - True or false, was there a rundown?
42:23 Did you extend an invite to Tate to do a rundown
42:26 and he said no?
42:27 - John Rich did.
42:30 - Nate, so Tate did not decline it, John Rich declined it.
42:34 - No.
42:37 - Oh, John Rich extended the invite, okay.
42:39 - Yes, and then he said he doesn't want his name
42:42 or face out there until March 11th.
42:45 And then he said that he would disguise his name and face
42:49 and he didn't reply or something like that.
42:52 - John Rich here?
42:53 - I don't remember the details.
42:54 I can't believe we're still talking about this.
42:57 - Well, we just, it's the first rundown since.
42:58 - We gotta.
42:59 What are you guys talking about?
43:02 Everybody's saying that.
43:03 This is how Barstool works.
43:04 You talk about it and then people talk about
43:06 how the reaction to it happened
43:07 and then he got hired full-time.
43:08 This is gonna go on for like a year, Nate.
43:10 What are you talking about?
43:11 - But yeah, he declined.
43:17 - So he did decline even with a face and a voice altering?
43:21 - He declined that and then like that night he did a video
43:26 with his name and face, so I don't know.
43:28 - Oh, so you think he's ducking you and Kelly specifically?
43:32 - I have no clue.
43:34 I've stopped paying attention.
43:36 - Do you think--
43:38 - Has the dog been neutered?
43:39 What's going on here?
43:40 - Yeah, come on, what are you talking,
43:40 you guys can't do all this and then be like,
43:43 I don't wanna talk about this anymore.
43:45 - Yes, I agree with that, but then how come
43:52 you're not like, this fucking pussy,
43:54 talked all this shit and then when we said
43:56 let's talk about it, he ran away?
44:06 - But he's full time now.
44:07 I would put the screws to him.
44:14 I would be like, the fact that we were all wondering
44:18 what the scenario is with this, I would write a blog
44:20 or make a video being like, here's what happened.
44:23 - It's not my company.
44:24 Dave can choose if he wants to make him do it or not.
44:27 There's clearly possibly other teacher reasons
44:31 that he can't do it, I don't know.
44:33 I give people the benefit of the doubt.
44:35 I'm an honest working man.
44:37 - Speaking of hard working, are we gonna get
44:39 Nate Fridays this week?
44:40 - I don't know, Dave canceled it, so I don't know.
44:43 - Well, Dave told you you can't put it on the main account
44:45 or he told you you cannot do the show?
44:47 - This might shock you, he was not very communicative.
44:51 - 'Cause I've never heard Dave Portnoy stop anybody
44:53 from making content.
44:54 I've heard Dave Portnoy say it can't be on the channel,
44:57 you can't put it on the main account,
44:58 but I've never heard Dave say you cannot make a video.
45:00 - You could put it on Son of a Boy Dad.
45:05 - There you go.
45:06 Or you could put it on Nate Friday's
45:08 make a rumble account right now
45:09 and you just have a new account that you're gonna grow.
45:11 - I will explore all options, including Son of a Boy Dad.
45:17 - 'Cause you know, like that's how you do content.
45:20 You make content when people want content that's good,
45:23 you put it on a channel and the channel grows.
45:25 - Yeah, no, I'm in the lab,
45:28 we're talking with Dante the Don,
45:30 we're doing a lot of moving pieces.
45:31 - Do you think there's ever a chance
45:33 for like a Nate and Tate connection?
45:34 - Dude, we're all on the same team,
45:38 we're all trying to raise $12 million a year.
45:41 (laughing)
45:43 - That's good, Nate.
45:46 - I don't know what, I mean, I don't know
45:48 when you need to take two private planes
45:51 from New York City to Providence, Rhode Island,
45:53 you gotta do it.
45:54 So yeah, me and Tate, I'm not like Rico Bosco
45:57 where he wouldn't work with Jeff the Dude.
45:59 - Just catching strays.
46:01 - No, I'll work with anyone and everyone, you know,
46:03 just we put our hard hats on, we put our heads down,
46:06 we take the pic and we just kick away
46:09 until we make $12 million.
46:11 - Well, you gotta get that glitter for the star, right?
46:14 - Well, the glitter's currently being fed
46:16 out to the Cleveland-
46:17 (laughing)
46:19 - All right, dawg, we'll talk to you.
46:24 - All right, have fun in Vegas.
46:25 - See ya.
46:27 - I mean, I, to me-
46:28 - Two private planes is a fucking wild thing.
46:32 - To me, if I was challenging someone
46:35 and they were ducking me, I wouldn't just be like,
46:37 it's Dave's company.
46:39 - He's like, well, we had to take two private planes
46:41 to Providence, Rhode Island.
46:42 (laughing)
46:46 - Nobody does it better than Nate, man.
46:48 - Is that an official offer?
46:49 You can put it on Son of a Boy Dad?
46:51 - Yeah. - Okay.
46:52 - Why not? - Yeah, why not?
46:53 It's great for everybody, right?
46:54 - It does numbies. - Yeah.
46:55 - It's like, it will get out there.
46:57 Why not? We're not scared.
46:59 - There's, there just needs to-
47:00 - Not that Nate, I don't want that Nate on.
47:02 - That's Nate, that's Eric.
47:04 That's Eric, we want the dog.
47:06 We need Nate.
47:07 We need, that's Eric, he just listened to Blink-182,
47:10 he's just like sad about shit.
47:12 - Yeah, I don't want that.
47:14 I want, I run this company!
47:15 (laughing)
47:16 Everything I do does numbies!
47:18 - Yeah, that's what I mean.
47:19 - Until there's a open forum of some sort though,
47:22 where everybody can go into the Terror Dome and fight,
47:25 and then fall back, I don't know.
47:28 Shit's just gonna keep festering at this place.
47:30 - We have a fight club on Son of a Boy Dad on Rumble.
47:33 (laughing)
47:33 - There we go. - Make it happen.
47:35 - There we go.
47:35 All right, it's a long run, now we're done.
47:37 (whooshing)
