00:00 Brad Pitt is looking to reunite with Quentin Tarantino for the movie critic,
00:04 the filmmaker's 10th and supposedly final film.
00:07 The duo previously collaborated on Inglourious Basterds in 2009 and Once Upon a Time in
00:13 Hollywood in 2019, the latter of which landed Pitt a Best Supporting Actor Oscar.
00:18 The actor is already set to be tied up working on a Formula One racing feature for Apple and
00:23 director Joseph Kaczynski for much of the rest of the year. If Pitt has a deal for the Tarantino
00:28 movie, filming would then commence either late this year or in early 2025. Tarantino has said
00:34 he will retire from feature filmmaking after 10 films, which would make the movie critic his final
00:39 film. The project is said to be set in 1970s Southern California and is inspired by a cynical
00:45 movie critic Tarantino read growing up. The filmmaker is known for attracting top actors
00:50 to populate his films and interest among talent is expected to be high given it could be the last
00:55 chance to appear in one of Tarantino's features. Pitt last starred in Damien Chazelle's Babylon
01:00 and David Leitch's Bullet Train, both released in 2022. Coming up next, he has the John Watts
01:06 directed feature Wolves, which reunites Pitt with his Oceans co-star George Clooney. For more on
