Chaniece Collins has opened her very first salon called The Barnet Lodge in Drayton.

00:07 Okay, so we are in the middle of Jodhsvin. I set up a hidden salon, so I am behind the physio

00:14 on the main Hammond Road. It's called Violet Lodge. It's my own salon. I've wanted to have

00:22 this for all my life. I started hairdressing 10 years ago and finally got my own little salon.

00:30 So tell me when it opened. So this opened on the 30th of December, 2023.

00:35 So yeah, it's just been like a busy month, starting up, hoping to like expand and things,

00:43 get some more staff. And tell me what the reaction's been like so far. So the reaction's

00:49 been really positive, really good feedback. Everyone's sort of found the salon. So if you

00:54 look up the alley next to the physio, you'll see the orange flowers, the little board outside.

00:58 Everyone said it's like a warm, sort of cosy feel. I've gone with like a rustic edge,

01:04 just to, you know, audience everyone really. And tell me what sort of services you offer here.

01:10 So I am a female salon. So I do all of ladies' hair, cut, blow dry, colour services.

01:18 And what are your opening times? Okay, so opening times, I am closed Sunday and Mondays.

01:28 I am, on Tuesday I do 9 till 5, Wednesday I do 9 till 7, Thursday at 9 till 6,
