00:00 The legal counsel of Sunshine Media Network International or SMNI
00:05 issued a motion for reconsideration
00:07 up to the decision of the National Telecommunications Commission
00:10 to suspend the network.
00:13 It is asking the agency to explain
00:16 its violations under the Certificate of Public Convenience or CPC.
00:21 It also asked the MTRCB
00:24 to detail the violations and to reconsider
00:29 the suspension of the two programs
00:32 "Gigan sa Masa" and "Para sa Masa"
00:35 where former President Rodrigo Duterte
00:38 and his countrymen are hosting
00:41 former government anti-communist task force spokesperson
00:46 Lorraine Badoy and Jeffrey Celis.
00:49 The MTRCB accepted the motion of SMNI
00:53 where they will review the motion.
00:57 Our argument is number one, freedom of press,
01:00 freedom of expression and public issues.
01:03 We have the right to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation.
01:06 When they say presumed unconstitutional,
01:09 they themselves will present evidence
01:12 that what they are doing is right and constitutional.
01:16 If they cannot present a clear and present danger rule
01:19 as a basis for their ruling,
01:22 the presumption will prevail.
01:24 And that presumption is the ruling of the MTRCB
01:27 are presumed unconstitutional.
