The weekend nor Easter brought a foot of snow to parts of the northeast. Plow
00:05
trucks struggled to keep up with the snow in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Snow
00:10
blowers rumbled down the sidewalks of Albany, New York. Drivers were seen
00:15
sliding on snow and slush covered highways in New England. People are
00:19
just a little crazy. You know, some people drive like there's no snow and
00:24
some people go two miles an hour and I feel like it makes it worse. The storm
00:28
brought ice to parts of Virginia. Resorts were packed in the Poconos
00:32
with skiers and snowboarders looking to make the most of the fresh powder. I'm
00:37
new to snowboarding, so I'm looking forward to getting out on the slopes
00:41
with some fresh snow. We don't have snow back home, but anytime I see
00:44
weather, you know, weather storm coming in, go snowboarding. How much at all
00:47
last year was I didn't go snowboarding very often. While families got to break
00:52
out the sleds in upstate New York. This is fun. We needed some snow. Kids in
00:57
New York City only saw some flurries before a switch over to rain. I'm
01:02
really excited because I want it to happen again. All of this snow will not
01:06
last for long. Heavy rain will bring a rapid meltdown and raise the risk of
01:11
flooding across the northeast for Accuweather under Waddell.
