Emergency crews rescued a father and son from the raging Menomonee River as they were trying to save their dog. Everyone survived the ordeal.

00:00An attempt to save their dog turned into a fight for survival in Wisconsin on Monday.
00:08A father and son were swept into the fast-moving Mononyme River, the current pulling them downstream.
00:14Bystanders called 911 as the father vanished beneath the surface, his son clinging to the riverbank.
00:21First responders battled the rushing waters step by step until they reached the father, pulling him to shore.
00:27But in those moments, the son was carried away.
00:41From a bridge above, rescuers threw a rope, but he missed.
00:45They sprinted to the other side and tried again.
00:48This time, they pulled him in, soaked, exhausted, but safe.
00:52Both were treated by paramedics, and the dog they risked so much to save, waiting unharmed by their truck.
