Storm Henk: Motorist dies in aftermath of storm and fresh weather warnings in place

00:00 The aftermath of Storm Henk continues. Flooding homes without power, travel disruption on
00:06 the rails and roads and even death is the result of 24 hours of battering winds and
00:11 pouring rain across parts of England and Wales. Wind speeds of 81mph were recorded at their
00:17 peak. It comes after a driver was killed when a tree fell on his car in Gloucestershire.
00:22 Police said there was a man in his 50s who died in the incident as officers rushed to
00:26 the scene at around 3.15pm following reports of a large fallen tree on an A Road. National
00:31 Highways has said several roads are closed as a result of flooding and rail companies
00:35 like Great Western Railway and South Western Railway added disruption is expected on the
00:40 train lines. But will the bad weather continue into the rest of the week? Forecasters at
00:44 the Met Office believe so, predicting around 55mm of rain in some of the worst hit areas.
00:50 They've also issued a yellow weather warning for rain for the south of England and London
00:54 from midday on Thursday 4th January until 3am on Friday 5th.
