A known Edinburgh gangland figure, Marc Webley, was shot and killed outside a pub in Granton on New Year’s Eve. The incident happened around 11.50pm on December 31, 2023.
A video shared with the Evening News shows the 38-year-old taunting rival gangsters on social media on the evening that he was killed. A 39-year-old man was also shot and injured and remains in hospital in a “serious but stable condition.”
