Ruk Sindhi (Sindhi رڪ سنڌي ‎)(born August 05, 1961, in Village hamidUjjan,Kandiaro, District Nosheroferoz, Sindh, Pakistan) is a Historian, Writer and Journalist. He earned his Bachelor’s degrees at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan. He is a member of Hyderabad Press Club, and Hyderabad Union of Journalists, Sindh, Pakistan and News Editor at Daily Sindh, Hyderabad, Pakistan.
Considered one of the famous writer on the Ancient Indus Valley Civilization, Ruk Sindhi is involved in ongoing research on the Indus Civilization in Pakistan. He is a fluent speaker of Urdu, Sindhi, and English.
Ruk Sindhi began his writing career in 1980 at the age of 20 with his initial articles published in Daily Hilal-e-Pakistan Karachi.He had more than 13 published and unpublished books in Sindhi Language and numerous journal articles to his credit.He is the author of several books, including Rise of Indus Civilization (2016), Indus Civilization Scholars (20016), Indus Civilization, Aryan and Dravidian Hypothesis (2019), National Movement of Sindh (2015)and Qazi Faiz Mohammed.
