00:04 Yeah, I come from Wasingishu County.

00:07 I am one of the aggrieved parties in this case that is proceeding to court.

00:12 And I am just, number one, I am glad that it has finally gotten to this point,

00:18 considering the amount of time that it has taken for it to reach this point.

00:24 This case was first taken to EACC on March of this year,

00:30 and it has been nine months.

00:34 Yeah, so, and finally it has been born.

00:37 So now we are expecting that the people that are involved in this scandal

00:44 and in this conspiracy are going to be arrested,

00:47 and the full arm of the law will take its course.

00:51 Do I feel that we are going to get justice?

00:54 Yes, eventually.

00:58 Unfortunately, most of us have seen how long it takes for such cases involving such prominent people,

01:06 how much time it takes in court,

01:09 and that is one of the things that discourages us.

01:15 But we are hopeful that in this case it is going to take a reasonable amount of time,

01:22 and justice is going to be served,

01:25 because we have taken so long, we have tried to get the police involved,

01:30 we have gone to EACC, and finally it is here.

01:33 So as much as it may take time for it to be served, I believe that justice is going to be served.

01:41 My prayer as the case proceeds to court is that justice be our shield and defender.

01:49 The way our forefathers said when they were making the national anthem,

01:56 when they were coming up with the national anthem,

01:58 is that they hoped that justice would be our shield and defender,

02:02 that all of us, no matter who is aggrieved, is going to get justice.

02:08 Justice for the victims, justice for their families,

02:12 and it is not going to depend on how much money the oppressor has,

02:18 but just on equality,

02:23 and that the court will actually take time and look into this case,

02:29 and help the aggrieved people get the justice that they need and that they deserve.

02:36 I feel like it took too long to recommend charges,

02:40 because as I have said previously,

02:45 we had first taken this case to EACC and involved them from March,

02:54 but it has taken nine months,

02:56 and I don't know how long it is going to take for them to be arrested,

03:00 but it is my prayer that the EACC, the DCI, all the parties involved,

03:06 to bring justice to the victims of the families,

03:09 are going to take as short a time as possible,

03:13 because it has taken so long,

03:15 and as I had said again previously,

03:17 we had lost hope in ever getting justice in this case,

03:21 considering the people that are involved.

03:28 I am glad, my general feeling is that I am glad,

03:32 that it has finally reached this point.

03:35 I am expecting the best.

03:39 I am hoping for the best, yeah.

03:41 I am hoping for the best.

03:42 I would like to address the President of the Judiciary,

03:46 the CJ Mathakome.

03:50 CJ, I know how much justice means to you,

03:57 and how much you have invested your time in the judiciary.

04:01 My one and only prayer is that even as this case proceeds to court,

04:06 that you will oversee it,

04:09 and that you will ensure that we get the justice that we need and deserve,

04:13 because for far too long,

04:15 the common monarchy has been stepped on by the people that were supposed to protect him.

04:20 The common monarchy has been stolen from,

04:23 individually and even through public offices.

04:27 In this case, the people that have stolen from Washington County are the Deputy Governor,

04:32 the Governor and the Senator,

04:35 and the other people that are involved in the conspiracy.

04:39 My prayer, CJ, is that you will not let this go,

04:44 and that it will not be,

04:48 and that it will not be as those other cases in the past.

04:53 This one is very close to our hearts,

04:56 and of course it involves real people with real problems and real faces like mine.

05:07 I hope that you will see that we get the justice that we need, yeah?
