00:00 I'm going to be one year. one year.
00:06 For the people, it was a joke. It was politics.
00:10 People thought it was a topic to discuss.
00:14 What I told them is that the manifesto we wrote
00:18 was not a newspaper to hide meat.
00:22 It was a government scheme that would change the lives of people.
00:27 We said that we would have a Hassler Fund.
00:32 Because the over 1.7 million Kenyans
00:36 were living under the CRB.
00:41 If someone wanted to go to the bank,
00:44 they were told that they were under the CRB and that they were fine.
00:49 If someone wanted to go and buy clothes,
00:52 they were told that they were under the CRB and that they were fine.
00:55 I promised that we would repair the credit limits of those over 1.7 million Kenyans.
01:01 I am here today to say that the 7 million Kenyans
01:05 who were condemned in the CRB ecosystem,
01:09 today we have repaired their credit.
01:12 And we have made sure that all the 7 million Kenyans are out of CRB.
01:18 More importantly, 2.2 million Kenyans
01:23 whose credits were repaired from CRB,
01:27 today they are active borrowers in the Hassler Fund.
01:32 They left the CRB, now they are at the Hassler Fund,
01:36 and they are running their business.
01:38 To show that we were right.
01:41 That these people were condemned and had.
01:45 It means they were condemned not because of anything they had done,
01:50 because they had financial difficulties.
01:53 We have given them a product today that does not condemn anybody
01:58 because you did not pay on time.
02:01 We have given a product to Kenyans through the Hassler Fund
02:05 where you can repair your credit rating.
02:09 You can move on it slowly but surely
02:12 until you get your act together and you succeed.
