00:03 Okay, two hot teams. I know Houston lost. It was a close game against Jacksonville this past week,
00:08 but the Broncos, Jacob, they couldn't stop anybody for almost two months.
00:14 And now, all of a sudden, I mean, people are talking about the offense. Not really.
00:18 It's like their defense, all of a sudden, has just come alive, stopping the run and stopping the pass.
00:24 And teams are not scoring in the red zone against them.
00:27 And look, I thought they were out of it. I thought they were chasing the number one pick in the draft.
00:31 Now, all of a sudden, they're at least in the playoff picture, but they can't lose this game in Houston.
00:37 They're going to have to win this one, I think, to stay alive.
00:40 Texans took a big loss to the Jaguars. They still have a great shot for the postseason,
00:44 but they're going to have to probably win some games down the stretch, too.
00:47 Houston, minus 3.5, and the total, 46.5 in this game.
00:53 Yeah, I think I like the Broncos in this spot, believe it or not.
00:57 The Texans have been impressive this year, and they're way ahead of schedule in their rebuild
01:01 because of how good CJ Stroud has been. And he's a shoe-in-offense rookie of the year.
01:06 You can make the case that he's arguably one of the more valuable quarterbacks in the league.
01:10 He's not at MVP level yet. The Texans would have to be better for him to get that, in my opinion.
01:15 But I just look at the Broncos and how they're playing defensively.
01:19 They've really shut down teams of late. They've gotten a lot of pressure.
01:22 And the players are just really fitting into Vance Joseph's defense.
01:25 So I think they're going to find a way to slow down CJ Stroud a little bit,
01:29 force him into some rookie mistakes. We saw him throw three red zone, or at least two red zone
01:34 interceptions in three total against the Cardinals a couple weeks ago.
01:37 I could see him having similar troubles against a really good Denver defense.
01:41 And the other element about this game and the spread that you should really like,
01:45 Houston has only won by more than three points once since week four.
01:51 That was their five-point win against the Cardinals.
01:53 And they were lucky to pull that one out because of the turnover.
01:55 So I think that this spread is a little bit off. I think it's kind of capitalizing on people
01:59 not picking up on the fact that the Broncos are a really tough team to beat now.
02:03 People still have that 70-point game in their head, and they just don't want to back them.
02:07 But they're not the same team anymore.
