Police have upgraded the charges against a teenager accused of causing the hit-and-run death of Charlie Stevens, the son of SA's top cop. The 18-year-old has been remembered as a cheeky and courageous footballer as the state rallies to support police commissioner Grant Stevens and his family.

01:59 The 18-year-old driver, Dieran Randhawa, is now facing multiple serious charges, including
