00:00 I've seen the film, your performance blew me away.
00:02 You were so amazing in this movie.
00:04 How did you get into this character
00:05 and go about portraying him,
00:07 who really has these moral dilemmas he's dealing with?
00:09 - Yeah, what was nice is that it was really clear
00:11 in the text that he was a very open-hearted individual,
00:15 and I think the dialogue really supplemented that.
00:17 So generally, I just pay really close attention
00:21 to the words I have to say.
00:22 I try to dissect those and figure out, like,
00:24 what must've happened in this poor guy's life
00:26 to make him, you know, feel this way,
00:28 say this thing at this time, what's his history,
00:31 and then from that, I kind of build a disposition.
00:33 And yeah, I guess that's where I started,
00:36 and it gets a lot easier while you're filming
00:38 and you kind of get to know the chemistry
00:39 you have with your co-stars.
00:41 Yeah, that's about it.
00:44 - Speaking of chemistry, I saw a video online
00:46 of you and Rachel passing these love notes on set.
00:49 Can you give us a little tease
00:50 of what the notes said or anything?
00:52 - Yeah, it was a doodle.
00:53 It's funny how this is, like, such hot goss,
00:56 and to me, it was just like,
00:57 I just drew a little flower with a face on it,
00:59 and I gave it to her.
01:01 But yeah, no, it's nothing really spicy.
01:04 It was a doodle I gave her that I was drawing that day
01:06 'cause it's a long day on set.
01:08 - Like I said, you were so great in this movie,
01:10 but of course, so is she.
01:11 What has it been like watching her shine in this film
01:13 and on this press tour?
01:14 - Great, it's been absolutely wonderful.
01:16 I love getting to watch her just, like, blast off,
01:18 you know?
01:20 I think she's an amazing talent.
01:21 She's a wonderful person to work with
01:24 and a wonderful person to be around.
01:25 It really, like, yeah, it means a lot.
