00:00A very familiar face is returning to Netflix's Wednesday.
00:04In the first trailer for the second half of season two,
00:07Gwendolyn Christie has returned as Larissa Weems,
00:10who in the first season was the shape-shifting principal of Nevermore Academy.
00:17Rise and shine, Stevie head.
00:20The character was killed off in the first season finale,
00:22but now Weems is back to serve as Wednesday's pesky spirit guide that only she can see.
00:27Notably missing from the season two part two trailer is Lady Gaga,
00:31who's playing an as-yet-unrevealed part in the second half of the season.
00:36The first part of the new season is currently blowing up Netflix's TV most-watched chart
00:40with 50 million views worldwide.
00:43The second half of season two drops September 3rd.
00:46During her THR cover story with Tim Burton,
00:48Jenna Ortega talked about production on season two.
00:51Netflix has a lot more trust this time around,
00:53so we were able to do things on a grander scale,
00:56and we're able to spend more time on sequences.
00:59Ortega also discussed the stress of getting the very specific role just right.
01:03Sometimes I'll catch a glance of a shot and realize part of why a scene isn't working
01:07is because my posture's off, or my chin isn't tilted down enough,
01:10or that I'm not still enough.
01:12I don't think I've ever shot a scene in my life
01:14that has not kept me up at night and given me nightmares.
