We're well on our way on the 25th Anniversary of the HOT ROD Power Tour! We made it from the legendary zMAX DRAGWAY to the Martinsville Speedway

00:20 And we are at the start of Hot Rod Power Tour

00:22 in Concord, North Carolina at the Taj Mahal of drag racing,

00:26 ZMAX Dragway.

00:27 We're here in the Midway.

00:28 There's lots of sponsors.

00:30 There's lots of cars to see.

00:31 There's so much to do.

00:33 And we can't wait to hit the road tomorrow to the next stop.

00:57 We're going to Martinsville, Virginia.

00:59 We're going to get as far as we can get.

01:14 We're doing the power tour.

01:15 First time for both of us.

01:16 We got both of the kids with us.

01:19 I love Hot Rod, so we figured we'd make the trip out

01:22 all the way from Texas.

01:24 He and I are the only two people in the world that own

01:26 a Mazda with this glass top.

01:29 Normally the secret is when you're getting out and it binds,

01:31 we're on this downhill right now.

01:32 If you lean your arm out, right there.

01:35 So it's just another memory made on the trip.

02:16 You mean at 5 o'clock this morning while we're still--

02:18 Oh, you're still working on it today?

02:19 Yeah, we took it to the friend's garage.

02:22 It was about an hour north of Charlotte.

02:24 Yeah.

02:24 We worked on it until about 5 or so.

02:31 I don't want to know how much that's been on gas,

02:33 so I'm just putting the car in, pumping the gas,

02:35 and not getting our seat.

02:37 But ignorance is bliss.
