00:00 Our adventure now continues at Elephant Hill.
00:06 Canyonlands National Park, southeastern Utah.
00:10 It's almost a four-wheel drive park.
00:13 If you want to get into the backcountry on any way besides your feet or a horse,
00:18 you need to take a four-wheel drive.
00:20 And it was formed like that back in the '60s when they made Canyonlands Park.
00:25 And they made a conscious decision to make it less developed in the backcountry.
00:33 And because of that decision, it's still a great place.
00:36 It's still pristine. You still have Indian ruins.
00:38 You have petroglyphs, pictographs.
00:40 There's Anasazi buildings and places.
00:43 You'll see it throughout the park.
00:45 All kinds of great rock formations.
00:48 And good four-wheeling.
00:49 It's not as difficult as maybe we're used to.
00:52 But for a neophyte driver, this gets real exciting.
00:55 You have stair steps.
00:56 You go up on switchbacks where you drive in forward and you back down the next one.
01:00 And you drive forward again.
01:02 It's exciting.
01:05 So, Walker, what are you doing there?
01:07 I was trimming up my Pullmaster decal.
01:10 Oh, yeah, that's always one of the most important things, make sure the decals are on okay.
01:13 That's right.
01:14 That's the greatest pull rope you want to put your hands on.
01:17 Believe me, it's much better than cable.
01:19 It's the exact same strength, maybe even a little bit more.
01:22 But it's not as dangerous.
01:24 You know, you've probably seen cables break now and then.
01:27 And, boy, it's a whip more than a hat.
01:29 But these do not break, and I'll tell you, it's a lot better.
01:32 Well, if it does break, I guess it just falls to the ground.
01:35 That's what happens. It really does.
