00:00 One of the biggest concepts at the Detroit Auto Show this year, and I do mean big, this
00:14 thing is 265 inches long, is Ford's Super Chief concept.
00:21 This bold looking truck, inspired by the great locomotive engines of the '30s, is a preview
00:27 for the next generation F250.
00:30 It's got a really massive grill at the front that is unmistakably American in its expression.
00:37 Under the hood is a 6.8 litre supercharged V10 engine.
00:41 And the interesting thing about this engine is it's a tri-fuel engine.
00:45 It runs on regular gasoline, E85 ethanol, or hydrogen.
00:49 And what Ford's saying with this vehicle is, you can have your big pickup truck, but you
00:54 can be environmentally friendly.
00:56 The interior is fantasy, lots of leather and luxury.
01:00 We're not likely to see that in production.
01:02 The Super Chief is the first pickup truck done under the direction of Ford's new design
01:06 director, Englishman Peter Horbury.
01:09 And it really does capture the spirit of the American pickup truck.
