00:00 Agrafest is the winter prime stock show of the Devon County Show.

00:07 So all those producers, all our wonderful farmers from across the country come here to exhibit their animals.

00:14 And gosh it makes me so proud to be British to see the very high level of animals that we have here.

00:19 We've got 170 cattle and 45 sheep all looking in their prime.

00:27 We've got them from Carlisle, from Ireland, from the bottom end of Cornwall, all over the place.

00:33 And they all come down to support this show and it's really wonderful.

00:38 As well as the exhibiting we've also got the end product.

00:42 So we've got a steak, burger and sausage competition as well.

00:46 So the taste is really important but you can see that it's going to be super meat that's produced from these carcasses.

00:53 And then we've got a speaker's corner as well and the speaker's corner has got various different topics

00:59 including the Devon County Council on grant funding, how to find a grant and how to apply for it.

01:05 Also the future of farmland and Vale Vets are doing something on the new attestation rules which come in in December.

01:14 And historically this is when people did produce their animals ready for the Christmas market.

01:19 And that is still historically this is what it is and don't you want a lovely rib of beef on your Christmas table.
