00:12 Say yes to lightning fast, unkept 5G speeds on your iPhone
00:16 as YTL Communications' Sundarran Bahad
00:19 has partnered with Apple to offer Yes 5G services.
00:23 The telco officially announced this partnership at the Yes 5G
00:27 Next Chapter launch event on November 2nd.
00:30 Today at the launch, we're witnessing a game-changing partnership
00:34 as Yes 5G adds Apple's iPhone 15 to its lineup
00:38 promising unmatched 5G connectivity across the nation.
00:42 Certified by Oklah as the fastest 5G internet speed in the country,
00:47 Yes 5G supports Apple's latest smartphone lineup
00:50 which include the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus,
00:53 iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
00:56 Malaysia has a fantastic 5G network thanks to DMV.
01:00 We now have 70.2% population coverage and the performance is very high.
01:04 Now that we have all the telcos on board,
01:07 the performance is 485 megabits per second medium speed.
01:11 So what that means is that we don't have a problem with supply.
01:14 We have an amazing network with very strong quality that people can enjoy.
01:18 Supply is not the issue.
01:19 The issue when it comes to 5G adoption in Malaysia is demand.
01:23 The job of demand generation is that of the telcos
01:25 because we are responsible for the retail service.
01:28 So if we do not work hard enough to drive more attractive deals,
01:32 then naturally people will not be moving too fast
01:35 when it comes to signing up for 5G plans.
01:37 In line with this, Yes 5G is walking the talk
01:40 by offering a range of appealing plans.
01:43 This includes zero upfront payment, affordable monthly installments,
01:47 zero interest rates and unlimited data and connection speeds
01:51 all without any additional charges.
01:54 Yeah, if you look at the other telcos,
01:55 number one, they charge quite a bit higher when it comes to installment plan.
01:59 They also charge more when it comes to upfront payment,
02:02 quite a bit more like three, four thousand ringgit.
02:05 So from our perspective,
02:06 if you truly want people to enjoy iPhone with 5G connection,
02:11 then we have to lower the barrier of entry.
02:13 So the barrier of entry comes in three ways.
02:15 The upfront cost, the financing cost when it comes to the phone installment plan
02:20 and also the service plan.
02:22 We are able to beat all our competitors in every single one of these areas.
02:25 Therefore, we have the lowest total cost of ownership in the country
02:29 when it comes to iPhone.
02:30 We're now at the collaboration demonstration booths
02:34 where visitors can just test the 5G speed,
02:37 explore all the deals and their plans
02:39 and even dive into gaming on iPhone via the Yes network.
02:50 For as low as RM21 per month,
02:53 you can get your hands on the iPhone 15
02:55 by subscribing to the Yes Infinite Plus Ultra 178 postpaid plan
03:00 under contract for 36 months.
03:02 If you prefer the iPhone 15 Plus,
03:05 you can get the same plan from RM41 per month
03:08 or the iPhone 15 Pro from RM51 per month
03:11 or the iPhone 15 Pro Max from RM81 per month.
03:14 The iPhone 15 lineup can be ordered on Yes 5G's official website,
03:20 Yes Stores and Yes Authorized Dealers.
03:22 Apart from that, customers can purchase and activate a Yes 5G eSIM
03:28 via the MyYes mobile app without having to visit a physical store.
03:32 Coinciding with the release of the iPhone 15 lineup,
03:40 Yes 5G is offering customers the chance to own an iPhone 15
03:44 or iPhone 15 Plus for just RM1 during its Yes 11.11 sale day.
03:50 11.11 is a big deal for Malaysians.
03:52 You know, we are about 5G for all.
03:54 So we want to make a strong message out there
03:56 saying that we are serious about making it affordable.
03:58 Nothing more affordable than RM1 to get an iPhone deal in Malaysia.
04:02 So we want to make sure that that message is clear,
04:05 that everyone understands that we are that serious about making iPhone affordable.
04:08 The sale includes a bundle of freebies valued at over RM20,000,
04:13 an assortment of Apple accessories
04:15 and a complimentary 3-month subscription to NVIDIA GeForce Now.
04:19 On top of that, the company is offering a discount of up to 15% on iPhone accessories
04:26 such as the MagSafe charger, charging cables,
04:29 earpods and airpods with its iPhone 15 device bundles.
04:33 We believe that better internet is the surest way for us to uplift the life of all Malaysians.
04:40 We all aspire to be a high-income nation.
04:43 But to be a high-income nation is not just empty talk.
04:46 We believe that internet is the most fundamental platform
04:50 for the country to move towards a digital economy.
04:53 And when you see a proper digital economy in this country,
04:57 for sure, we will move towards into the high-income status.
05:00 Wrapping up from the event,
05:02 it is clear that Yes 5G is setting a new standard in connectivity
05:06 with the latest partnership with Apple.
05:08 This marks a significant stride in Yes 5G's mission
05:12 as they continue to lead in innovation and ensure 5G accessibility for everyone.
05:17 Tina Lo, the star.
05:19 Let's drop in.
05:20 And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen.
05:24 The Apple family and the range of products are now officially available
05:30 at all Yes 5G stores.
