00:20 this little fluffy cloud behind you, trying to get your legs.

00:26 [LAUGHTER]

00:29 You'll just walk into a room and not know he's in there.

00:32 And then his little arm will stick out and swipe at you

00:34 from underneath the bed or underneath a chair.

00:37 And that literally scares me every single time.

00:48 When Donut screams, it really feels

00:50 like you're in a horror movie.

00:54 Oh my-- oh, that was a big one.

01:12 When we started waking up from him screaming,

01:14 we're like, we should probably take him to the vet

01:16 and see if he's fine.

01:27 We decided to take him to the vet.

01:29 And it turns out he's deaf.

01:32 Like, if I just snap above him, he can kind of tell.

01:39 Which makes sense why he's so loud.

01:42 He can't hear himself.

01:45 We had no idea.

01:46 [MEOW]

01:52 It's not really changed much with our relationship

01:55 with him.

01:56 Now we know we have to take him to a deaf cat.

01:59 So waking him up, you can't shout to him.

02:01 You've got to maybe just tap a little bit next to him

02:03 so he can wake up and know it's dinner time.

02:05 You have to be a little bit careful, because it's

02:07 so easy to scare him.

02:08 Sometimes I think he thinks we're stalking him

02:10 because he's deaf and he doesn't know we're coming up behind him.

02:13 And he'll turn around like, whoa.

02:15 He's like, all right, if you're going to stalk me,

02:17 he's like, I'm after you.

02:18 Game on.

02:19 [LAUGHTER]

02:20 It kind of made us understand his personality more

02:24 and his love language more.

02:26 [LAUGHTER]

02:27 Even after the vet told us he was deaf,

02:33 he still has so much energy.

02:35 And we thought it'd probably be good to get

02:37 some of that energy out.

02:38 So we took him on walks.

02:41 He loves walks.

02:42 He's like a dog.

02:43 He'll try and climb trees.

02:45 It's adorable.

02:47 Inside the house, we try and do little games,

02:51 or we've gotten fake little fishies.

02:53 And he'll play with those in the bathtub.

02:57 Liam loves to cook for him, which is really funny.

02:59 He loves to watch Liam cook.

03:03 [MEOW]

03:05 I've literally made him a cat room underneath our stairs

03:07 like Harry Potter.

03:08 He's literally the most spoiled cat in the world.

03:12 But there's still some energy left over.

03:14 No matter what we do, he will always--

03:16 He's still stalking us.

03:17 Yeah.

03:18 Stop it, Donut.

03:19 You're being naughty.

03:20 [LAUGHTER]

03:23 It's hard to think about what it was

03:25 like before we had Donut.

03:27 Now it's wake up to Donut screaming, coming up,

03:31 snuggling for like a whole morning.

03:32 Are we for cuddle time?

03:34 It just makes the everyday positive.
