How many women are killed each year in Australia?

In Australia, one woman is killed every week by a partner, making intimate partner violence the top risk for young and adult women.

01:32 Women aged 18 to 34 are nearly three times more likely to experience intimate partner

01:37 violence, with young women six times more likely to experience sexual violence.

01:44 Reports have also shown that women seeking hospital treatment for at-home violence injuries

01:49 are 10 times more likely to end up dying from assault.

01:54 I don't think there's anybody who would think that the sheer prevalence of it is okay in
