00:03 Arguably the biggest game from Saturday, Texas at Alabama from Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
00:10 We saw the Longhorns go on the road catching seven, even seven in the hook,
00:16 depending I guess what time you jumped on this game.
00:19 But Mark overall, man,
00:21 maybe it's one of the bigger surprises of the weekend, that's for sure.
00:24 Texas looks strong as they go in and knock off Alabama, lightning in a bottle,
00:30 if you will, going into Tuscaloosa and coming out with the win.
00:34 Obviously, they cover the seven and
00:36 put up some points here against this Alabama defense.
00:40 What'd you take away from Texas knocking off Alabama Crimson Tide?
00:44 >> Twofold, one, Quinn Ures was excellent, 24, 38, 349 yards, three touchdowns.
00:51 Alabama, I'm sorry, Texas rather puts up 34 points.
00:55 They didn't really have an answer in the secondary for the Texas passing game.
01:02 Jatavian Sanders had 114 yards, Donnie Mitchell had two touchdowns,
01:06 Xavier Worthy had a touch, each one of those guys had at least 75 yards receiving.
01:09 So Alabama's defense really had some issues there.
01:12 And Jalen Milrow, is it too early to say he's not the guy?
01:17 He didn't look like the guy yesterday.
01:19 14 of 27, 255, two touchdowns, two picks.
01:23 And Alabama just doesn't have that receiving core that they've had for
01:29 so many years that make defenses just crumble.
01:33 Forget the fact that it's Jalen, there's not a Jameson Williams out there.
01:38 There's not a Calvin Ridley out there.
01:39 There's not a whoever else who came out of there in the last couple,
01:44 I can't remember all of them, Jalen Waddell and Devonta Smith.
01:48 None of those guys are running on the field for Alabama anymore.
01:52 So without those receivers, it makes the job that much harder on the quarterback and
01:57 a lot of things get exposed and that's kind of what happened to Jalen Milrow.
01:59 >> Yeah, I mean, this one overall, it was surprising to me.
02:05 You bring up kind of those guys that we've known in the past for
02:10 Alabama not being on this roster, not running out of that tunnel there.
02:14 I gotta bring it up that is this the beginning of the end to the dynasty that
02:19 we've seen for Alabama the last two decades, Mark?
02:22 Are we getting ahead of ourselves?
02:23 >> I think we're getting a little ahead of ourselves.
02:26 I'm not gonna sit here and
02:27 write about the demise of Alabama football and everything else based off of one game.
02:32 Hey, you know what the interesting part is?
02:33 Guess what?
02:34 They still have time to get better.
02:35 They still can win the SEC West.
02:37 They still can play in the SEC Championship game.
02:39 And if they win that and they don't have another loss, guess what?
02:42 They're going to the college football playoffs.
02:43 So let's not have any more grand overreactions about what teams are and
02:48 what they aren't.
