City officials on Thursday (August 31) said seven children were among the 73 confirmed deaths in a blaze that raged through a five-story apartment block in Johannesburg, South Africa.

00:10 66 of those are adults and seven children.
00:16 Let me at this stage express our condolences to the families and

00:23 And I hasten to add that all efforts are being put in place to provide the families
00:28 and all the affected with the relevant social and psychological support.
00:32 This is a tragic event, an incident, and one that is unprecedented given
00:37 the number of lives that has been lost in this incident.
