00:00 Orleans Padres, excuse me, is where we want to go next. Michael walk is going to have
00:06 the ball for San Diego. The Padres, and this is where the Padres, I can only imagine how
00:11 frustrating this is. DRS. When you make that bet, you see how the rest of the NL wildcard
00:17 race has responded.
00:20 And then you see how the Padres get booked against the team in that race. Now I am those
00:26 seeing my off base here. I see fan dole sports book says Michael walk. I see one thing say
00:31 Blake Snell. I see Quato. I see TBD. Who the heck is pitching in this game for you?
00:36 It looks like Quato versus Walker. That's the case. That's a massive advantage for the
00:40 Padres, but here's the best part about as you bring it up. The reason why I bet the
00:43 Padres is I say to myself, okay, I expect them to get healthy. And this is before walk
00:47 a even came back into the rotation. I said every single night outside of playing like,
00:51 I don't know, like the Dodgers or, you know, going up against Max Scherzer, they have the
00:54 better picture on the mound. So that's supposed to equate to victories here. And it's not
00:58 as if you say, well, Don, if you're like the brewers, you know, that good frontline pitching,
01:01 but you hope one player can step up in the lineup.
01:04 They're all stars all over the board. They can't get it together. But again, they're
01:07 a heavy favorite tonight and they should be. If Johnny Quayle is on the mat against Michael
01:10 Walker, that should be an easy victory for the Padres. But yet again, the Padres should
01:14 have had so many easy victories over the past three weeks. They can't get out of their own
01:18 way. But if you continue to trust the numbers, walk a coming back one star 20 batters, he
01:22 was sensational in that performance as zero ISO power number a two Oh four weighted on
01:27 base percentage.
01:28 I do like this lineup for the Marlins, but typically pitchers do went out. And if you're
01:32 asking me to trust Michael Walker or Johnny Quayle, I'm not trusting Johnny Quayle in
01:35 this spot here, but again, it comes down to what do you expect and what do you make out
01:39 of the San Diego Padres just because they have the better picture of the mound, which
01:42 they continuously have. It's not stacking up wins. So I don't know if I trust them enough
01:46 to bet them tonight, but there should be some opportunities to knock Johnny Quayle around
01:51 from the to tease level from the Machado level Cronin worth.
01:54 They all should be fine tonight, including Juan Soto.
