00:41are going to be a little bit more on upset watch but those Utah and BYU do not play Tech

00:48today very very likely the winner of this game will make that big 12 championship game and give

01:06on Utah and for the most part all season I didn't have Utah as a serious contender I was wrong

01:11they're number three in the country for a reason they've looked outstanding they went and beat the
01:15crap out of Cincinnati in Cincinnati last week a pretty good Cincinnati team that had beaten Tech the
01:20week before I just think there's a bigger gap between Utah and BYU than the line is telling you
01:25I think you're in agreement with me on that that Utah has one of those balanced offenses in the country
01:31you're averaging close to 500 yards per game but it's like 260 passing and 240 running they're really
01:38really good on both sides of the ball I wasn't impressed the way they handled Houston where they
01:43needed two touchdowns at home in the fourth quarter to win which is why I took Cincinnati
01:47now but then I looked at it and said well I was really high on Houston to be and if

01:52high on Houston who should have beaten Texas and Utah took care of business well maybe Utah is better
01:58than I give them credit for we're going to find out that today I know you had said that BYU

03:39and the committee told us last year that if you make your title game you could essentially take
03:46knees for four quarters and they're not going to drop you because of what they did with Alabama last
03:52year in the SEC championship game so this is a huge team that I do think is good I think

04:00advantage for them is their ground game I think BYU will struggle to slow it down I'm sure there's
04:06going to be excitement that LJ Martin's back I think you're likelier to have success throwing against
04:11this Utah defense and I don't still trust Bear Bachmeier to do that here in this spot so I laid

04:19four in this spot here Dave yeah I think that the difference is the Utah defense if you look at
04:25them year over year last year they were 108th against the run this year they're 22nd against
04:33the run 15th overall on defense this is one of the better defensive teams in football I talked about
04:38their offense a few minutes ago if you look head to toe this might be it doesn't have the star

04:44don't have the star power that Miami has they don't have the star power that Georgia has but if
04:49you look at the roster top to bottom and the way they're playing they may have the most valid group
04:55of anybody in the country and I think they win today they're pretty much in the big 12 title game
